Story
Quick Facts! Name: Cookie Age: 6 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Collie Jindo mix Colour: Golden beige Weight: 18 kg My Story:Hello world! My name is Cookie and I'm currently 6 years old. When you first see me, you'll just love the way I look. I have collie's narrow head shape with silky golden-beige coat. Too bad I can't show off my appearance now, but please do check my YouTube link attached (don't forget to "Like" and "Subscribe" our channel heehee!) for details! You'll just fall in love with me. Did you know that I love hooman and furry friends? I just love everyone!!! Although I'm crate-trained, when you open the crate, I often jump and run only because I'm just so happy all the time. I'm full of curiosity, energy (not too much though), and love to greet new friends. Yes. I love socializing! When I meet new friends I usually approach them first. For hoomans, when I first meet them, I get so excited that I jump up and down. But don't get me wrong. This doesn't mean I'm being aggressive. So please be patient with me. I'm sure I can improve if you train me. Many hoomans describe me as an intelligent dog and I totally agree with it! It must be my collie DNA or something as I can easily tell how hoomans feel. I think I'm born with it. So again, if you train me, I know I'll be a good companion. Cats? What's that? I don't even know who they are and I have no idea how I'll react when I see them. I enjoy outdoor activities, especially long-walks and hiking as I'm a good walker. It takes a lot of my energy so when I come home, I like to sit and rest peacefully. I usually don't bark and stay nicely in a crate. I also don't guard my food against hoomans and furry friends. I generally take my potty break outside. When I visit new places, I tend to mark so please keep that in mind. I can still remember my first time entering my shelter back in 2018. I was a skinny little puppy and it's already been 6 years ever since! Despite my time in the shelter, many hoomans say "Cookie is a great, calm dog." I'm so ready to bring warmth and joy to your home! If you're looking for a sweet, loving, and clever companion, I'm the one! Let's make some wonderful memories together For more videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLOMJUT-1hs&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzQWukc8poUanRSx8kxW6kd ##2260935##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Quick Facts Name: Seolgi Age: 4 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: Ivory Weight: 14.5kg Heartworm: Treated January 3, 2024 Me & Humans Welcome to my profile page everyone. This is Seolgi, a 4 year old Jindo mix boy, weighing 14.5kg. When you first see me, I will probably catch your attention with my appearance. Although I am Jindo mix, I rather look like a mix of Labrador Retriever and Pitbull with a clean ivory coat. Before I got rescued, I was on the leash (it was very short!!!) for 2 years. I had no food or water, but I survived for 2 years with whatever strangers offered me. Luckily, I got rescued by a kind human and I am now ready for my second chapter of my life. I like to socialize with people, but I might appear to be a bit shy in the beginning. But no worries. Offer me some treats and I can easily get along with you. Once I get comfortable, I will show you my belly (belly rub please!) and let you lift me up under my belly. Kids under 13 year old? I love kids! I think they are awesome! I like to hang out with kids and adults. With Dogs & Cats & Chickens Not only humans, but I also like to play with furry friends! I easily approach them as I want to play with them. I usually get along with almost everyone but for some reason, I cannot get along with boys that are big in size! But if anybody tries to pick up a fight, be aware because I will not step back!!! Oh, and if I ever get into a fight with anybody, I refuse to play with that specific one (I will never forget what happened.....) So please keep an eye on me when I am with other friends. Sigh... A bit embarrassing to say, but when I was at the shelter, I often got into fights and got myself in trouble few times and maybe that is the reason why I might appear to be a bit shy in the beginning! With cats, I have seen them, but they did not draw my attention that much. I will probably need to get myself tested to find out more on this! Chickens? Ooooh! I saw chickens before! My friends went crazy when they saw chickens, but I had zero interest at all. Activities & Walk With lack of walk experience, I cannot say I am a pro. I tend to stop and sniff often during my walk. I prefer to walk in a quiet area rather than busy roads where there are cars everywhere. When I get frightened, I might stop and lie down on my belly. My energy level is fairly high so if you want me to relax quietly at home, please provide me sufficient amount of outdoor activities on a daily basis. Resource Guarding & Crate & Cars & Potty Break I recently had my guarding test done. Hmm.. I do not guard against people (because I love them so much) but I growl at other furry ones if they approach me too close while I am eating! Personal space guys!!! Step back when I eat!!!!!! So if you hear me growling, that means I do not want to get distracted while I am eating. I might also bark when there I see strangers or if there is anything that I need that requires a human's attention. I got my crate-training done and I am confident that I can stay calm inside. As I mentioned before, I get scared of cars . So when I need to get inside the car, I may need a bit of your help. Just give me a lift, and I will get in. For potty breaks , I prefer to go outside and do my business. When I visit new places, there is a chance that I might start marking as well. Last Message I am an absolute human-lover who needs my forever home and family. My childhood was lonely, and I do not really have good memories so far. But thankfully I got rescued and I am now getting myself prepared to meet my own family for the first time! If you are looking for an affectionate companion, please talk to my team about it! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I’m in Toronto Foster home Once a stray, this furry friend found themselves at a city shelter, facing an uncertain fate on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a compassionate rescuer spotted this sweet soul and made the decision to give them a second chance. At first, I might seem a bit shy, but rest assured, I warm up quickly, especially when there are delicious treats involved. With some positive encouragement, I’m more than happy to become your best friend and allow even strangers to hold, lift, and carry me with ease. Once I’m at ease, I’ll proudly show my belly, inviting those cherished belly rubs. I’m still not comfortable when people are too close when I’m eating so if you can give me a space to enjoy the meal by myself that would be much appreciated. When it comes to other dogs, I’m a gentle spirit. I’ll approach them with a soft hello, though I’m less likely to engage in playful interactions. If another dog appears uncomfortable or shy, I’ll gracefully give them space, prioritizing a peaceful encounter. Though I’ve never encountered a cat, my demeanor and energy levels suggest I’m less likely to chase small animals. My energy is on the lower side, making me a calming presence in any household. While walking, my excitement may lead me to pull a bit, but I’m quick to settle and follow the handler with grace. Sharing is caring, and I’m all about it—I don’t guard resources from people or other dogs. Barking isn’t a habit of mine, and I’ve mastered crate training. When I’m in a room by myself I do destroy few things but once i feel comfortable around the space and know that it’s a safe zone, that behaviour will change for sure.If you’re seeking a low-energy, calm, and gentle dog, I’m the perfect addition to your home. I’ll sit beside you, gazing lovingly with adoration in my eyes. Pets and scratches bring me immense joy—I’ll even close my eyes, wearing a big smile, revelling in your attention. Now, about my diet—I may gain weight a bit faster than other dogs, but fear not, I’m not overly food-obsessed. I’m simply a delightful companion who enjoys your company and the occasional treat. Let’s make beautiful memories together—your love and attention will complete my story. Story
Quick Facts! Name: Jinju Age: 4 years old Gender: Female Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: Brown Weight: 13.15 kg All about me Hello world! I am Jinju, a 4 year old Jindo mix princess. I had a ruff childhood. I was abandoned at the electrical station in South Korea without any food and water with my mom and sisters. Luckily, I survived and got rescued. I am now ready to find a loving family! I am a bit on the shy side but give me some treats and I will be your friend in a wag of a tail because I love to eat! Once I get to know you, I will eventually let you pet me as well. I am fine with belly rubs but do not like being lifted high. Loud noises and little kids? Eeeeek! I once met kids under 13 and it did not make me feel comfortable when they suddenly moved and made loud noises! Whether dogs are my size, smaller, or larger, I am quite friendly with them. I will politely greet, but not always play with them right away. I feel overwhelmed when they get too energetic or aggressive. In this case, I simply step back. My curiosity kicks in when I encounter cats, but I just give them a curious glance and keep on strolling under my human's guidance. As for my energy level, I am somewhere between low to moderate. I absolutely enjoy outdoor activities but also like resting quietly afterward. During walks, I might pull my leash a little, but I generally walk well in quiet areas where I can relax and enjoy the scenery. Busy roads can make me a bit nervous, but under your guidance, I will get the hang of it. I am also house-trained and would prefer to do my business outside during walks. I do not guard my food from people, but I might growl if another dog comes near while I am eating. I am particularly not a barker unless I see a stranger. Additionally, I got my crate-training down to a tree. I have survived and got rescued at the edge of precipice and I deserve to have a peaceful life with my own affection family. If you are looking for a genuine friend who is gentle, affectionate, and loyal, I will be the perfect one for you. Please contact my trusted team for more details! Story
Quick Facts! Name: Rawoon Age: 3 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Shepherd mix Colour: Brown Weight: 17 kg My Story: Hello world! I'm Rawoon. I'm a handsome looking 3 year old, Shepherd-Jindo mix. That's right. You can easily tell that I have some shepherd gene based on my behaviour and appearance. I am smart and full of curiosity. Thus, I can understand wordings and commands easily, such as "sit" "wait" and "down." I like to socialize. When I see hoomans, I get so excited! Whether I know them or not, it really doesn't matter because I love everyone! I just don't what to do when I see them. I get so excited that I often jump and try to hug my hoomans. That's just my way to express how much I love them! But if you don't feel comfortable, simply body block yourself and say "sit." Since I'm a clever boy, when I hear that phrase, I'll sit down nicely and wait. So if you end up fostering or adopting me, simply say "sit" and I'll know that I need to stop and sit down. Not only hoomans, but I also like to socialize with my furry friends! I like to meet and say hello, but I simply step back when I see aggressive ones. Overall, I'm generally nice to my furry friends. I think I'm pretty active and energetic! I have high energy level (thanks to my Shepherd gene) and I enjoy outdoor activities and walks! Speaking of which, I always get so excited when I go out for my walk and maybe that's the reason why I pull the leash. But if I get my walks regularly and get trained, I'll try my very best to get better! You can take me out for a long walk, hiking, and etc. Just keep me active and I'll stay nice and calm. Hmm... what else should I talk about? I don't guard my food against any hoomans or dogs (sharing is caring!) and don't usually bark because there's no need to unless anything urgent happens. I can stay inside my crate nicely. I like to take my potty break outside during my walk as I like to keep my home nice and clean. I met a cat before and he looked much smaller than my kind. The cat looked pretty interesting but I decided to go back and play with my hooman friend instead. So I guess this is it! As you can probably imagine by now, I'm an active boy that loves hooman! Perhaps if you're the one who can keep me active with a bit of training, in return, I promise to be your loyal companion, clever friend, and a source of endless love. Now, it's your turn! I'd love to hear back from you! For more information, please contact my team directly. Love you!!!! Story
Quick Facts Name: Nathew Aga: 1 year old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Colour: White Weight: 13kg My Story I'm Nathew, a curious and gentle one-year-old Jindo mix, and I can't wait to share a little bit about myself! I'm a sweet boy with a soft white coat, weighing about 13 kg (around 29 lbs). I'm a young, thoughtful pup who's learning more about people every day. I may be a little shy with new faces at first, but if you have a treat for me, I'll happily accept it and start warming up! I'm curious by nature and eager to find my forever family. Personality I can be a bit cautious around new people, but I don't have any signs of aggression. Once we're acquainted, I'll even roll over to show you my belly! I just need a little time to adjust, and soon enough, I'll be coming up to you on my own terms, curious and ready for affection. I'm already making great progress with the people I know well, and if you give me a bit of patience and encouragement, I'll grow into a loving, affectionate companion. My Social Side I'm friendly with other dogs, and I'll go right up to say hello, whether I know them or not! I get along well with dogs of similar or smaller size and am always gentle. If another dog tries to start trouble, I'll calmly walk away-I'm more interested in friendly play and peace. When we're out on walks, I'm not distracted by cats or other small animals; I prefer to stay focused on my person. My Energy Level & Walks I have a moderate energy level, so I enjoy outdoor activities and exploring with you, but I'm also content to relax and rest afterward. I walk well on the leash and usually follow along without pulling, making our walks enjoyable for both of us. I'm also comfortable with both indoor potty pads and going outside, so I'm flexible to different setups. I love my kennel time too, where I can settle in quietly and relax. Last Message I'm a gentle and curious dog who just needs a little time and patience to adjust to new environments. I may be sensitive to changes at first, but I adapt quickly with a little reassurance, especially if you have treats handy! My easygoing nature with other dogs, low barking, and willingness to please make me an ideal companion for a calm, loving home. I'm eager to learn, and with a bit of time, I'll show my sweet and playful side, bringing warmth and loyalty to my forever family. If you're looking for a gentle, curious friend who just needs a little patience to blossom, I could be the perfect match. I can't wait to meet my new family! Story
🌿 Name: Louis 🌿 Age: 3 years old 🌿 Weight: 13kg 🌿 a neutered little prince! 🌿 People Interaction: It depends! Calm and patient people: 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 Familiar people (after 2+ meetings): 🦋🦋🦋🦋 First-time meeting: 🦋🦋 Loud, big gestures people: 🦋🦋 🌿 Dog Interaction: 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 Calm with low-energy dogs, playful with energetic dogs. He loves doggy friends! He’s good at cleaning his friends’ ears, and if they don’t like it, he patiently waits for them. 🌿 At Home: 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 Absolutely no mess or barking! No separation anxiety, and he only goes all business outside. Perfecrly crate trained. Crate is his cozy home for him. He loves resting on low cushions and is not picky with food, though if he eats too many treats, he gets a little breakout, so we give him kibble as snacks—he eats it happily like a treat! 🌿 Walks Like a Pro!! 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 He walks well on a leash and isn’t scared of car noises. Confident on familiar paths and great at going up and down stairs. If something surprises him (like a big trash bin), he lowers his body and does a cute little swim motion with his paws to avoid going near it! 😂 🌿 Grooming/Hygiene/Vet Visits: 🦋🦋🦋 He may not love it, but he allows it! It’s important for his person to stay close to keep him calm. 🌿 The Perfect Home for Louis: Someone who truly has a patient with heart, so Louis approaches at his own pace. Louis has been in a second foster home for a month and has made incredible progress—he gets better day by day! 🌿 Rescue Story: Louis entered a shelter with his mother when he was around 2-3 months old. Due to his shy personality and being a Jindo mix, he never received any adoption inquiries. He got many skin cuts on his leg at the shelter last year, and he got a 6-month foster home to recover and to have experience with people. After returning to the shelter, Louis, who had experienced the warmth of a home, didn’t want to go back to the kennel and resisted entering it. Anyway, after enduring nearly 3 years in the shelter, Louis was finally rescued!! For more pictures please click the link below. Huchu is still waiting for his furever home! He's is a Jindo mix neutered boy, about 2-3 years old and 22kg. Huchu loves all people, including kids. He shows his affection by asking for pets and belly rubs and lots of tail wagging. He also loves other dogs and is a great playmate for them. He is a little too interested in cats, so needs a home with no feline friends. Huchu is a high energy boy. He would be a great running buddy. His leash manners are good, but he is still very curious about the world. He's not crate trained, but will stay well. He is housebroken. He has no aggression or possessiveness towards food or toys. Huchu is not a flight risk. He only barks when someone enters the home but settles down. Huchu was found on the street and sent to a kill shelter. She will need time because she can feel awkward to meet strangers in unfamiliar environments. She has good walking manners, but is sometimes afraid of cats or birds. Juju is gentle and quiet, and hardly barks in vain. She plays well alone with her toy ball. As she doesn’t know how to hang out with other dog friends, she needs some time to get along with other dogs. No other dogs or cats in the home will be ideal. Story
Guksoo is still looking for a loving family He is currently fostered in Barrie, ON. Guksoo is a neutered Jindo mix boy who is about 4 years old.He can be shy at first, but slowly warms up over time, and tends to trust women more than men. Deep down he loves people and wants to be with them all the time! When he first came into his foster home, he was very shy but would timidly ask for pets by slowly pawing at the humans. Now, he has become more social and will come up to strangers with a wagging tail to ask for pets and treats! He still continues to paw at his foster parents when he wants attention, and loves to snuggle and give kisses first thing in the morning. He is okay and gentle with kids, but can be startled by sudden movements. After some time, good food, and lots of walks, he will open up and give you lots of kisses and hugs When it comes to other dogs, Guksoo LOVES to play! And especially loves girl dogs. He loves to run and play with his doggy friends and is excited to play with both new and familiar friends. With his foster sibling, he loves to groom her and give her lots of kisses. However, he is still learning that not all dogs like to play, especially on leash, and he can get a bit frustrated when he sees another dog on a walk that he cant say hi to. He is learning how to be neutral to other dogs while walking and responds well to his handler. He has a medium energy level, he loves going for walks and exploring, and rests well once at home. He has a low prey drive and ignores cats when he meets them while on walks, but sometimes likes to chase birds and squirrels. He is currently fostered with bunnies and lived with a cat for a short time, he is very gentle with them and leaves them alone after a quick sniff. On walks, Guksoo can be a bit excited at first but will eventually relax and walk by his handler’s side, occasionally stopping to sniff. He rarely pulls unless he sees another dog or a small animal but is easily redirected. He is fully potty trained outdoors. Guksoo Rarely barks, only when a stranger knocks on the door or if something new startles him. He has no destructive behaviours and can be left alone in the home without any issues. He loves to chew and enjoys playing with his chew toys or a long lasting treat.  Will you welcome this sweet boy into your family? Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello! I'm Yona! Age: 3 years Breed:*Chow Chow/Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight:18 kg Status: Neutered Male My Story: I was rescued just in time from a kill shelter, and now I'm searching for my forever home where I can share all my love and happiness! Despite having a tough past, including some abuse, I'm ready to trust and bond with a loving family who will be patient and kind with me. All About Me: Shy but Sweet: I might be a little timid when we first meet, but offer me a yummy snack, and I'll warm up to you quickly! Once I feel comfortable, I'll even show you my belly for some gentle rubs. Friendly with Other Dogs: I enjoy greeting other dogs, whether they're big or small. I don't usually engage in play, but I'm always polite and avoid any kind of confrontation. Making new doggy friends is fun! People-Focused Walker: On our walks, I love focusing all my attention on you. Cats and other distractions don't bother me much; I'm happiest staying by your side and enjoying our time together. Outdoor Enthusiast: I have a normal energy level and enjoy exploring the outdoors. After our adventures, I like to relax and rest quietly by your side. Maybe we can cuddle up together? Learning the Ropes: I do tend to pull on the leash a bit, but I'm currently in training and getting better every day! With your guidance and patience, I'll become the perfect walking companion in no time. Easygoing Eater: I don't guard my food and am happy to share space during mealtime. Treats and dinner times are enjoyable and stress-free with me around. Toy Lover: I'm discovering the joy of playing with toys and absolutely love it! Since I didn't have many toys before, each playtime is a new and exciting adventure for me. Let's have some fun together! Gentle Affection: Because of my past, sudden touches can startle me. I prefer to come to you on my own terms and enjoy gentle, loving pets. Give me a little time, and I'll show you just how affectionate I can be. Potty Trained: I'm comfortable doing my business both indoors on pads and outside. I'm smart and can easily adapt to whatever routine suits our home best. Calm and Composed: I'm very calm when resting in a kennel and appreciate having a cozy space to relax. Quiet moments are some of my favorites. Why You'll Love Me: I'm a sweet and loving boy who's overcome a tough start and is ready to share my heart with a family who understands me. With a little patience and a lot of love, I'll be the most loyal and affectionate companion you could ask for. Let's fill our days with gentle walks, fun playtimes, and cozy cuddles! Are you the special someone I've been waiting for?** Let's meet and start our happily ever after together! I can't wait to be a part of your family.
