Born to a stray mother in a rural area, Sophie and her four siblings faced a challenging start in life. Fortunately, they were rescued and have been thriving in a loving foster home ever since. About Him/Her Sophie is a unique blend of playful energy and affectionate calm. She adores her squeaky ball and can entertain herself for hours, showcasing her independent spirit. However, she also cherishes snuggle time with her humans, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a balance of activity and relaxation. This young dog is active and loves outdoor adventures, but once inside, she transforms into a mellow and calm presence. Her foster family has helped her socialize with many people and dogs, but due to her mild resource guarding tendencies, Sophie would do best as the only pet in her new home. She doesn't attack but prefers to keep her toys, treats, and other belongings to herself. Sophie has a mild food allergy and does best on a diet limited to one protein source. When she consumes chicken, she tends to lick her paws, so her current diet avoids it to keep her comfortable and healthy. Are you looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion? Sophie might just be the perfect fit for your home. With her unique personality and sweet disposition, she’s ready to bring joy and love to a family that understands her needs. Come meet Sophie and see if you’re the perfect match for this special girl! Jindo Beagle Mix | Male | 4 years 8 months(was born in 2019 November) | 31 lbs | Tan with dark brown | Neutered | Vaccinated | *1: Challenging, 5: Great! Good with male adults: 💖💖💖 Good with female adults: 💖💖💖 (1~5) Good with kids: 💖 (1~5) Good with other dogs: 💖💖💖💖💖 (1~5) Good with cats? 💖💖💖💖💖 (1~5) Character: brave, playful, gentle, loyal, curious, funny Vaccination up to date Foster Location: Waterloo Diet info: Kibbles (The honest kitchen Chicken flavor), Beef, Chicken Rescue Story: Youngsil's story is one of remarkable resilience and hope. Born in a bustling shelter with over 1,600 dogs, Youngsil waited patiently for four long years before his turn to be rescued finally arrived. Now this brave soul is ready to embark on a new journey, eager to learn the joys of a normal doggy life, and discover the love of a forever home. About Him: Youngsil is an amazing boy and so very eager to find his forever home and family. And he certainly deserves to find one because he’s brave, smart, sweet, and happy. What’s really impressive about him is how hard he tries to face and overcome his fears (which are becoming less and less every day). One time, his foster family was telling him to sit so they could wipe his muddy paws. He knows “sit” perfectly well, but he also knows when his paws are going to be wiped, so he was really afraid and hesitant to sit. Eventually, he did, but not before he pooped due to stress and fear. He used to do that often, but he’s made remarkable progress over the months with his foster family, and now it’s very rare—it’s an exception, not the norm. But you can’t blame or fault him because you can see in his face and eyes that he’s trying to obey, but he had a traumatic past, and he’s so embarrassed for his mistake. It’s easy to forget those embarrassing moments because he’s normally very happy and energetic. And he LOVES to eat! That makes him really easy to train: he’ll pay attention and do anything for food. (But keep your socks off the ground: he’ll eat those.) When you scratch his neck, he gets a look on his face like “Oh! This is amazing!” He runs zoomies around the yard two or three times a day. He’s good with other dogs. He’s gentle and sweet. He listens and learns. He greets you when you come home. There’s just so much goodness in him. GIven how hard Youngsil tries to overcome his fears, and his innate joy, there’s no doubt that with a little more time and training he’ll stop being a “rescue dog” and become a “normal dog”—beyond normal: he’s going to be a cherished member of his forever family. He’s already an amazing boy, and there’s no doubt he’ll become even more amazing and loving. Story
"Please become the loving family of Songyi ❤️ Songyi is a puppy born to stray dogs living on a small hill in Gimpo. She had to always protect herself to survive among adult dogs, and due to her disabilities, she sometimes had to gather food separately. She was rescued after being bullied by other dogs and finding herself in dangerous situations. Leaving the hill was a new and frightening experience for Songyi, and she faced conflicts with new friends. It wasn't easy for them to open their hearts to humans either. 😢 Thanks to the efforts of the rescuers, Songyi is getting along well with her friends and is eagerly learning while waiting for her family. She is curious about everyone and shows endless affection to her rescuers. We hope she can spend the rest of her life in the warmth of a loving family. She is seeking a lifelong family that will be a source of strength and support for her. Although her disabilities may be a bit challenging, she is just like any other companion. Please be a strong family for our beautiful Songyi. ❤️"

Story
Meet Rose: A Lovable Soul Looking for Her Forever Home Rose's journey hasn’t been easy, but she is a sweet, gentle dog ready to find a loving family who can offer her the stability and care she deserves. Three years ago, Rose was adopted from a high-kill shelter, where she and her brother, Baekdu, had been waiting for a second chance. Sadly, after three years, Rose and Baekdu were returned to the shelter after their owner’s breakup. In high-kill shelters, adult Jindo dogs are at high risk of euthanasia, and we knew that Rose and Baekdu would face an uncertain future without intervention. While Baekdu was fortunate to quickly find a new home, Rose has carried the trauma of her early life with her. She had been abused by her previous owner, leaving her with a fear of people. But through patience, care, and time, Rose has made remarkable progress. She has learned to trust again, and now she is ready for a fresh start in a home that can provide the love and care she needs to continue healing. ❤️❤️Personality and Behavior Rose is a gentle and affectionate dog, seeking the love and attention of her people. Though timid at times, her curiosity often shines through as she explores her surroundings. She enjoys being petted and is friendly with both men and women. While she has not had experience with children or cats, we believe with the right guidance and environment, she could adapt well. When it comes to other dogs, Rose is generally good, but she tends to dislike overly aggressive approaches. She is more likely to thrive in a home where she is the only dog, as she can become overwhelmed by strong personalities. Rose does not show aggression but is more likely to shy away from tense situations. Rose is fully potty trained and can use both indoor and outdoor facilities. She has not had crate training but is learning to adapt to new situations with time. Rose has an average energy level—she enjoys walks and playtime but also loves her quiet moments. ❤️❤️Health and Daily Needs Rose has a good appetite and enjoys her meals. She can walk on a leash, though she may need some encouragement and time to adjust to regular walking routines. She is not prone to excessive barking but will softly bark when other dogs or people are nearby. Rose is not an escape artist, and while she will back away if forced into an uncomfortable situation, she is generally calm and not prone to running away. Rose is also a gentle soul when it comes to toys—she enjoys playing, but her behavior tends to lean toward dismantling toys rather than destructive chewing. ❤️❤️Ideal Home for Rose Rose would thrive in a home where she can receive the care and attention, she needs to feel safe and secure. Ideally, she would benefit from a house with a yard, especially if daily walks are not possible. While Rose could live in an apartment, it’s essential that she receives regular walks (2-3 times a day) to keep her healthy and happy. Rose may be best as the only dog in the household, though she may also adapt well to a calm, well-mannered dog who respects her boundaries. Rose’s perfect family will be patient, understanding, and willing to offer her the structure she needs. With the right guidance, Rose will blossom into an incredibly loving and loyal companion. Could you be the one to give Rose the second chance she’s been waiting for? If you have the time and love to offer her, Rose is ready to bring joy, affection, and her gentle nature into your home. Together, you can give her the forever home and happy ending she deserves. 💕
