Story
Queso is a sweet, loving, happy pup. He is loyal and LOVES to cuddle. He really is a big baby. He gets along great with my 5 other small dogs, he sticks around in the yard, and he listens when he is called. He is a great pup, lots of energy but will chill out when youre ready to chill out. I think Queso would be best with another pup(s) and an active owner that will expose him to other things outside his home. As a jack russell he has a lot of energy. He likes looking out the windows and going outside. A fence would be great but not needed as long as he is monitored. Queso came to me because his owner no longer wanted him as he was showing too much of a protective nature with nipping at people when with he was with his owner. Since I've had him, Queso has met with a dog trainer. Queso is not a mean, just very nervous and feeds off energy. Queso will need a confident, calm adopter. He will require an adopter that will need to meet with him many times. We are working on his confidence.

Meet Lucy ! 🐾 This sweet girl found a spot in our hearts the minute she hit the rescue. She is a total bright light that makes you want to rush home to enjoy her excitement for life and attention from her person/people. This girl never misses a beat. She fit right in immediately and made herself at home with her foster mom and foster mates. She has a wonderful outgoing personality but also just adores cuddles and treats by the fireside and on the couch. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Lucy has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with all other dogs and any person she meets. Anyone would be lucky to make her part of your life and/or family. She is sure to bring numerous smiles to your life daily. Those sweet eyes are like little windows to her sweet sweet soul. Lucy is going to make a superb family companion and she is ready and waiting to be your new best friend! Meet HOPE! 🐾 There are not enough adjectives to describe this girl!!! Amazing, beautiful, wonderful, perfect. She is all of the above. Hope came into the rescue a little while back and has been with two fosters so far that just could not get enough of her. Hope is deaf. We don’t even think the shelter she came from realized it because you most absolutely would not know it. Except boy can this girl sleep good. The only thing that gives away she is deaf is you can come home unload the groceries, load the dishwasher, do all the housework and if she is asleep she will never know you are there. Hope is PERFECT she is house trained, spayed and could not be a better dog than anyone could ask for. She is a little bit of an attention hog. Just wants to be with you 24/7. She is wonderful with other dogs but your dog better be ready to share your lap. We can’t stress enough how much this adorable girl is just the perfect package!! 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Hope has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way.
