Name: Francine Age: 6 years Breed: terrier mix Gender: female Weight: 10 lbs (needs to gain a little) Good with kids: yes, lived with children as young as infant aged Good with dogs: yes- but larger dogs only Good with cats: NO Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Francine was welcomed back to rescue after 4 years in an adoptive home. Returned to no fault of her own. Francine is sweet, but with your typical terrier quirks. She wastes no time cozying up to new people, even after her world was shaken up. She is definitely a nervous gal at first, so decompression time is of mass importance. Francine loves being with her people. She enjoys running around the yard, but pulls quite a bit on a leash. A harness will help make walks more comfortable for everyone involved. Francine does have a wonky back end from a previous injury, but it stops nothing! This girl can romp, run, and jump like you're paying her in treats. A daily joint supplement in the form of the treat helps keep things moving! While receiving care gives her butterflies in her stomach, she is brave at the vet and event affectionate. Francine has lived with larger dogs and done well. She was briefly fostered with smaller dogs, and it was determined she would do best in a home without them. Dining alone is always a good idea in a multi-dog home, and Francine’s forever will be no exception. She would do just fine as your one and only, and would love to enjoy a nice chewy treat in her kennel if you have to step out. While she does enter her crate on demand, she will bark her displeasure if you are milling about. Apartment living may not be ideal for this company loving girl, only for that reason. She will however let you know when she is ready for bed (between 8 and 9PM) and will head to her crate, unless you ask her to snuggle up. Francine enjoys the outdoors, but will need some help acing pottying out there. She is doing great, but does have a nervous bladder and will leak inside some in new situations, especially- but gets so much better as the days go on. Activate best friend mode, adopt Francine!
