Duke is an energetic boy that loves to run and play and be adventurous. He's a go-getter that will never turn down a walk or playdate. Duke doesn't know that he was saved from euthanasia after another overfull shelter could not support his Addison's disease. Addison's disease is a rare disorder that occurs when the adrenal glands can't produce the hormones cortisol and aldosterone. Sunny Sky's knew, that despite his rare condition, Duke can live a normal life with proper treatment and monitoring that requires a daily oral steroid and a monthly injection. Archie is a cute little boy! He looks like a perfect mix of scruffy terrier and has the classic Papillon color pattern. He's friendly, social and very lovable. He does need someone around more often than not to help him become the great house dog he can be. He is high energy and run over the furniture and get on things he shouldn't be getting on, but with consistent training and reminders, he will learn. He must be crated when no one is around, or he will find something to get into. He is also very vocal, to the point he's going hoarse. He craves being with people or dog friends. He would love someone to take him walking and spend time with him, so he learns how to be a good boy. He's the perfect dog for the right home and family. his dog needs an active and attentive people in his life! Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ Relationship with dogs: Gets along with other dogs very well. However, there are times where he barks at dogs who are too aggressive or dogs who bark at them. ▶ Relationship with cats: Hasn’t been in same space with cats, but barks at cats passing by the fence. ▶ Relationship between people: Loves human and being alongside for long period. Loves meeting people when going for walks. Mary sticks her head towards people, as if wanting to be seen. Loves human more than other dogs. If other dogs run towards her owner or seems to bother them, she would bark at them to stop. ▶ Leash training: She is family and doesn’t have aversion towards harness; she enjoys them since she know it means going for a walk. Special note: As a side effect from measle, has tic symptoms, weak front legs and inablity to produce tears. Due to weak front legs, may have some amount of shaking but has no problem at all to go for a walk. Slippery floors may casue her to slip some times but other than that, there are no problems. Mary's left eye has a bit of murky makrs which are improving over time. She has been puting artifical tears to help it. Mary used to have a paralysis on left part of her, but she was desperate to heal, that she overcame it. Her strong will is making her healthier daily.

Norma Jean is a mellow dog. She is skittish to noises. She does not play with toys and is very obedient to common commands and walks well on a leash. She is house trained and seems to approach the outside door and stand to stare at it. I have encouraged her with certain words like do you need to go out? And she would give a very low tone bark. She seems to have issues with other dogs. At the dog park she has nothing to do with them and kind of stays off to the side on her own. She’s a loner. She eats well. I leave out dry food and a freshwater bowl and she eats as needed. She loves the soft dog treats as a reward after doing her business outside. She hast to be lifted onto a bed and she sleeps well through the night. She likes to cuddle. Stand still when you wash her and is very cooperative in nail clipping.
