Meet Chiclet! Chiclet is a 1yo Jack Russell mix. He is a happy, high energy major wiggle butt. He loves to run, jump, play with dogs of all ages, shapes, & sizes. Very affectionate, he also adores belly rubs & cuddles. He is working on crate training, does best when crated with a buddy, but will sing the songs of his people when he thinks he is being left behind. This may stem from his being a stray for an undetermined period of time. Chiclet is an ideal pet for an active individual or family. Attributes Very high energy Crate trained, but with vocal protests 90% housebroken Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beau Background Beau came to us with all his siblings from an animal hoarder's home in California. He is the last of his litter who needs a home. Beau is neutered and up to date. What Beau Needs Beau is a Jack Russell-Papillon mix, also known as a Papi-Jack. Initially shy, he warms up quickly to a sweet and loving 4-year-old boy. Beau needs a woman-only home as he is used to living in an all-female household and doesn't do well with men. He requires a yard for sunning and potty and prefers to have 1-2 dog friends to thrive, as he has had other dogs around him his entire life. Beau was rescued from a hoarding situation and is accustomed to being part of a larger dog group, so having a friend or two is critical to his well-being. Beau needs an adult-only home. He does not like children or grandchildren, as they scare him and may bite. Beau prefers women to men, but with patience and proper socializing, he will become friendly with the man in the home (if there is one). If you're looking for a lover boy who wants to be with you everywhere, is super playful, and loves having a buddy dog to be close to, Beau is your boy. He has a medium-long, soft, and silky fur coat and does best when he is kept well-groomed, brushed, and bathed. Beau adores being clean and brushed and loves attention, being talked to, and hugged. He is housebroken but has also learned to use a Peepad as a backup if needed.  Beau is intelligent, lovingly gentle, and protective. He becomes very close to his particular person. Beau does become a watchdog if you have company, so he will need a nice, quiet place to retire to if you have guests and people he has not been adequately introduced to in the home. He prefers to be around only 1-2 people and becomes a lap dog, hugger, and kisser once he knows he can trust his humans. Beau likes all small dogs he has met and has done well with a few older lab puppies we have brought in, engaging them in play.  Due to Jack Russell's prey drive, Beau is a healthy boy but needs a dog friend and a small-animal-free home. He has cleaned the house of visiting mice and moles on the rescue property. How To Adopt Beau CLEAR The RESCUE September Special: $150 off adoption fees for single animals to help us find long term dogs their forever people!   Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup.  The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Beau has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for his and his new buddies.  To apply to adopt Beau, he has a $495.00 September "clear the rescue" adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.      https ://rompinpawsrescue.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2024, 12:21 pm

Story
This petite and precious boy is named Pepe. Pepe is a rarity in the rescue world- a rescue dog with a history that we actually know some details of! Pepe’s past life was spent with a retired couple, that spent most of their time at home with him. That’s the life that Pepe wants, a quiet and simple life with preferably older people. He wants to be the baby of the house, spoiled, loved and pampered. Watch Pepe here: https://youtu.be/hEibyM7R2ww?si=PSNRobVY2gAVNlQc We think Pepe is a Jack Russel, Chihuahua mix of some sort, around 4 years old. He is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown and cannot be guaranteed. Pepe is warm and friendly with strangers, and used to having friends and family in the house. Pepe is not accustomed to children, so we would not recommend him for a home with kids. He does well in public, and is easy on leash. Pepe is dog friendly, but slow introductions are recommended. Here at the rescue he did well meeting dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is currently fostered with other dogs and doing well! We think Pepe could fit into your pack, or enjoy life as a solo dog. Pepe was cat tested here at the rescue, and we believe that he is cat tolerant. Pepe could live with dog savvy kitties. Pepe’s perfect home would have at least one loving human to call his own, and an abundance of treats and pets to be had. He’s not too picky about the rest, he’s just ready for his forever home! We are willing to test Pepe with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Please email emilyparsons@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Meet Jaxon, a spunky nine year old Cairn Terrier mix. Don’t let his age foul you, he loves being active. He needs a home that enjoys walks and playing fetch. In the evening, he would love to be someone’s snuggle buddy on the couch. Gets along with foster mama’s two dogs, but no experience with cats. He will bark when someone comes to the front door or when he spots a critter outside. Would do best in a single family dwelling with a fenced yard to explore. Jaxon is 16 pounds, veterinarian checked, house trained, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and recently received dentals. If you’re looking for a dog with an awesome personality, look no further. Please send statement of interests to: https://alternativehumanesociety.com/ ##2158858##
