Archie is a cute little boy! He looks like a perfect mix of scruffy terrier and has the classic Papillon color pattern. He's friendly, social and very lovable. He does need someone around more often than not to help him become the great house dog he can be. He is high energy and run over the furniture and get on things he shouldn't be getting on, but with consistent training and reminders, he will learn. He must be crated when no one is around, or he will find something to get into. He is also very vocal, to the point he's going hoarse. He craves being with people or dog friends. He would love someone to take him walking and spend time with him, so he learns how to be a good boy. He's the perfect dog for the right home and family. his dog needs an active and attentive people in his life! Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented. However, there are times where he barks at dogs who are too aggressive or dogs who bark at them. ▶ Relationship with cats: Hasn’t been in same space with cats, but barks at cats passing by the fence. ▶ Relationship between people: Loves human and being alongside for long period. Loves meeting people when going for walks. Mary sticks her head towards people, as if wanting to be seen. Loves human more than other dogs. If other dogs run towards her owner or seems to bother them, she would bark at them to stop. ▶ Leash training: She is family and doesn’t have aversion towards harness; she enjoys them since she know it means going for a walk. Special note: As a side effect from measle, has tic symptoms, weak front legs and inablity to produce tears. Due to weak front legs, may have some amount of shaking but has no problem at all to go for a walk. Slippery floors may casue her to slip some times but other than that, there are no problems. Mary's left eye has a bit of murky makrs which are improving over time. She has been puting artifical tears to help it. Mary used to have a paralysis on left part of her, but she was desperate to heal, that she overcame it. Her strong will is making her healthier daily.

Despite witnessing the cruelty of their fellow companions dying, Dodo still wagged his tail when he saw people. He is now in a foster home and doing well. * Interaction with people: Loves people and communicates well emotionally. Displays intimacy to strangers. Becomes full of charms once people become familiar to him. * Interaction with dogs: Wants to make friends with and approaches other dogs first with wagging his tail. Is whining and looking for caregivers when bothered by other dogs. * Interaction with cats: Trembles in fear when encountering cats. * Separation Anxiety: Enjoys his time alone but occasionally tears tissue or pads. * Potty Training: Outdoor potty. Comes to foster and is whining indoors when nature calls him. * Hygiene: Accepts baths calmly and does not make a fuss in getting dryed, brushed, and toenail trimmed. * Walks: Was afraid of unfamiliar environments or sounds but gradually improving. Was scared of steps before but currently overcame the fear. * Car Sickness: Does not get car sickness and looks out the window in a car while being held. * Follows the commands such as "Sit," "Paw," "The other paw," "Hi-five," "Come here" and "Wait." Can understand "Wait" even in English.

Tiny little Lois is approx 11-12yrs old and she weighs just a little over 7lbs. She is very sweet and would really love a home that will let her just relax and feel loved. She was originally removed from an abusive, neglectful home that did not nurture her or take care of her medical needs. We have been able to get her dental needs taken care of and she is spayed and vaccinated. She does still need to see an eye specialist so we are looking for a calm, loving foster home until she can see the specialist. Although she see just great, one eye is a little swollen. She receives eye ointment every day and it seems to be working to reduce the swelling, but we want a specialist to confirm the future course of treatment. Lois is very calm and easy going so she’d be the perfect companion for a senior person. She does like to go outside and explore so a small fenced yard would be ideal. She uses inside potty pads, too. Although she can hear, her hearing is not as sharp as it used to be. She’s very smart and adjusts to a new environment quickly so you hardly notice that she is hearing impaired. She is wonderful with all people although an easy going adult only home or with kids over 14yrs old would be best. She’s also great with all other animals. During foster, all medical expenses and supplies are provided.
