Story
https://foha.org/pet/josie2024/ Hi there! I'm Josie, and let me tell you, I'm a sweet, sassy bundle of love who's ready to find my forever home. I'm currently hanging out in foster care, and I absolutely adore being around my people! I'd thrive in a home where someone is around often, and I wouldn't mind snuggling up with you at night for some cozy doggy cuddles. I can handle being left alone for a little while, but I do prefer it if you're not gone for too long. I might cry for a bit when you leave, but don't worry-I settle down and, lucky for you, I'm not destructive when waiting for you to come back. As far as housebreaking goes, I'm mostly there! If you take me out every 2-3 hours, I won't have an accident. And if I'm left alone for a bit, I usually do just fine-though sometimes I get a little too excited when you come back, and, well, a tiny tinkle happens. I co-exist with other dogs, but I'm not a fan of overly energetic playmates-probably because I'm on the petite side! I'd prefer to be your only dog or to live with another calm canine. Cats? Well, I like them too, as long as they're on the calmer side. I did try to play chase with a cat once, and that didn't go over so well-got a little swat on the nose, but hey, I learned my lesson! If you're looking for the perfect small companion, I might just be your girl! Can't wait to meet you!

Story
Our Popeye may not have superhuman strength (like the cartoon character), but he sure has super canine cuteness! He is basically like a canine toddler, who finds everything you do fascinating, so he wants to be a part of it. He enjoys other dogs to play with, toys to chew on, walks, with you by his side, and any and all attention you offer him. He is a true lap dog and reserves the right to yours every evening. This puppy is crate trained and house trained already. Sleeps through the night. His happy place is by you on the couch or your bed. If you are interested in this most adorable bundle please let us know. Thank you for your interest in Popeye! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=17582 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Popeye, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Story
*****AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 10/11 Are you looking for a four-legged companion who will shower you with love and endless cuddles? Look no further, because Marty is here to melt your heart! This handsome 2-year-old Jack Russell mix is patiently waiting for his forever home!!!! This little guy weighs 30lbs and is a perfect balance between active and cuddly. Despite his stray background, Marty is a people-pleaser and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will charm you with his affectionate and curious personality. Marty is a playful and quirky boy who loves to explore his surroundings and play with toys. He gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit picky with who he chooses as his furry friends. We believe a patient and loving home would be an ideal fit for Marty, where he can feel safe and loved as he adjusts to his new surroundings. We know that Marty may need some time to adjust to new situations and people, but we're confident that with time and love, he will blossom into the perfect companion. Marty will be neutered and microchipped, he is updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention. Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Betty-Boop came to us from an over-crowded shelter and was turned in by her owner. She is a very quiet, laid-back, 11 year old. We think she is a Jack Russel Terrier mix. She is a little chunky at 24.5 lbs and could stand to loose a few pounds. We had no medical history on little Betty-Boop so she pretty much needed the works, including dental surgery, full blood analysis, core vaccinations and a microchip. BettyBoop has very sensitive joints either from a previous injury or arthritis, so she would do best in a home with little or no stairs. She enjoys leisurely walks and the other day she was so happy to see foster dad she did the "Happy-Dance" and did zoomies around the yard, (not really fast zooomies but she tried).  She is totally house trained and will either go to the door or come up to you and let you know. You won't mistaken her expression; her eyes truly tells you that she needs to go out!  We feel that Betty-Boop would love to have someone home most of the time and give her the companionship she yerns for.Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet.
