She's hoping to ring in the new year in her forever home. If you're looking for a small companion to cuddle with this winter she's your girl. She'll nuzzle right up next to you and even burrow under the blanket with you. Her affection is passive and not demanding, she just wants to be close. She loves a good treat and will sit patiently waiting while you make her dinner. She has started playing with toys and will entertain herself, but appreciates a short game of tugg with you! She's cautious on leash but has been a brave girl out on walks with her foster and enjoys all the new smells she can sniff. She gets a long well with dogs in her foster home and would settle in well with dog siblings or as your one and only love. She's been sleeping well in her crate at night with a little reassurance, but would likely do well snuggled up with you all night if that's your preference. Tinsels waiting patiently for your email and hopes you'll be her fresh start in 2026!

They had an wonderful human whos life was taken by a family member. We don't know what Casey and Rango experienced but we saw the heartbreak in their sad eyes. Thankfully a lovely woman who was friends with their human immediately went and picked them up. Within a few weeks they started to perk back up almost knowing they would be cared for and loved again. Rango is not bonded to Casey but they have lived together so many years, we are praying they can be adopted together. Rango has a history of seizures. The seizures are not severe or often enough to be on medication. He remains mobile, stable, and does not loose bowel movements during these episodes. We are continuing to monitor and if meds are needed , even after adoption, CCRT will get these meds started at our cost. Rango loves cuddling beside his human and napping. He is gentle and friendly and will make a great family member to almost any household

Lucy Loo is a sweet, social puppy with a big heart for her people. At just 7 months old, this Jack Russell Terrier mix is playful, loving, and ready to be part of all the fun. She’s done well with children, loves attention, and balances her playful energy with plenty of cuddle time. Like many puppies, Lucy Loo can be a little excited in new environments, but she settles in quickly and is eager to please. She’s still learning the basics, including leash skills and house training, but is already picking things up and is sure to continue thriving with consistency and encouragement. This great gal has done so well, it's hard to tell she is deaf. This does not hold her back at all, and she is ready to live her best life in a home that is willing and able to support her. Lucy Loo is a loving, happy-go-lucky pup who will shine in a home ready to guide her through puppyhood and shower her with affection!

Introducing, Lucy! Lucy and her brother Linus ended up in a rural animal shelter where they waited a month for rescue. Despite having a rough start to their lives, these pups are super sweet and loving. Lucy is about 4 months old and a petite little girl weighing 12 lbs. She is doing great with housetraining, walks well on leash, and loves to cuddle. Lucy can be a little timid in new situations but warms up quickly.
