Meet Roy!   Roy’s journey is one of resilience and hope. This sweet boy was rescued from tough conditions in Puerto Rico. On Labor Day, our rescuer spotted Roy under a car, dragging his left paw. When she called to him, he came straight to her, as if he knew he was being saved.   Sadly, Roy’s leg couldn’t be saved and had to be amputated. He spent several days in the hospital recovering. Buddy is an older Jack Russell mix brought to us when his family could no longer care for him. Buddy is about 12 years old but still has plenty of golden years left in him. We have completed a dental with a few extractions as well as a few fatty mass removals on Buddy. All of this medical is covered under our Grey Muzzle Grant and the only cost is his adoption fee. Buddy does well with dogs of similar size but we always recommend dog to dog intros to make sure everyone gets along. Buddy is a bit of a talker so be warned if you share walls in your home he can be a little loud! If you would like to meet Buddy or have further questions please speak with our kennel staff!

We have a a very affordable transpoter who comes north every other week. This boy is a Jack Russell mix. He was born 1-4-2023. This boy weighs around 15 pounds and he is extremely social and great with people and other animals except cats. He likes to chase cats. This boy has been started on crate training and potty training. This furbay will go home neutered, current on vaccines, preventives and microchipped. We require a prescreen application to adopt. Hi there, I'm Boo, a sweet and fluffy mixed breed (maybe Jack Russel Terrier and lab mix) with white fur and tan spots. I'm about 3-4 years old and weigh 55 pounds. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also house and crate trained. I'm looking for a loving and caring family who can give me a forever home. I'm a happy boy all the time who loves to play with other dogs. I would do well with children, but I recommend older kids because of my size and energy level. I have not been cat tested but can be if you’d like. I need some more training with walking on a leash because I get very excited on walks and pull a bit. I have a special need that you should know about. I have a badly healed left front broken leg. It doesn't bother me much and I can run and walk just fine. The vet says that as long as I'm not holding my leg up like I'm in pain, it's ok. But if it becomes painful, I might need to have my leg amputated. That's something you should consider before adopting me because it might lead to additional costs. I'm currently being fostered in Clemmons, NC, but can be transported to other states for my perfect match family. If you think you could be the one for me, please complete an application to let my rescue know you're interested in Boo. I can't wait to meet you and start our new journey together!
