“Marathon”, is fostered with cats and dogs so we know first hand he’s an amazing little guy. He is also good around horses, loves car rides and walks well on a leash. He is completely house trained! Transport would be through HEARTSLLC Rescue Transport or possibly a meet up if not within Hearts scheduled route. He’s currently fostered in Tennessee. Call his 423-329-6749 (Debbie), for more information.

APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Betty-Boop came to us from an over-crowded shelter and was turned in by her owner. She is a very quiet, laid-back, 11 year old. We think she is a Jack Russel Terrier mix. She is a little chunky at 24.5 lbs and could stand to loose a few pounds. We had no medical history on little Betty-Boop so she pretty much needed the works, including dental surgery, full blood analysis, core vaccinations and a microchip. BettyBoop has very sensitive joints either from a previous injury or arthritis, so she would do best in a home with little or no stairs. She enjoys leisurely walks and the other day she was so happy to see foster dad she did the "Happy-Dance" and did zoomies around the yard, (not really fast zooomies but she tried).  She is totally house trained and will either go to the door or come up to you and let you know. You won't mistaken her expression; her eyes truly tells you that she needs to go out!  We feel that Betty-Boop would love to have someone home most of the time and give her the companionship she yerns for.Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
*****AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 10/11 Are you looking for a four-legged companion who will shower you with love and endless cuddles? Look no further, because Marty is here to melt your heart! This handsome 2-year-old Jack Russell mix is patiently waiting for his forever home!!!! This little guy weighs 30lbs and is a perfect balance between active and cuddly. Despite his stray background, Marty is a people-pleaser and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will charm you with his affectionate and curious personality. Marty is a playful and quirky boy who loves to explore his surroundings and play with toys. He gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit picky with who he chooses as his furry friends. We believe a patient and loving home would be an ideal fit for Marty, where he can feel safe and loved as he adjusts to his new surroundings. We know that Marty may need some time to adjust to new situations and people, but we're confident that with time and love, he will blossom into the perfect companion. Marty will be neutered and microchipped, he is updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.
