This handsome 2-year-old Jack Russell mix is patiently waiting for his forever home!!!! This little guy weighs 30lbs and is a perfect balance between active and cuddly. Despite his stray background, Marty is a people-pleaser and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will charm you with his affectionate and curious personality. Marty is a playful and quirky boy who loves to explore his surroundings and play with toys. He gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit picky with who he chooses as his furry friends. We believe a patient and loving home would be an ideal fit for Marty, where he can feel safe and loved as he adjusts to his new surroundings. We know that Marty may need some time to adjust to new situations and people, but we're confident that with time and love, he will blossom into the perfect companion. I'm currently hanging out in foster care, and I absolutely adore being around my people! I'd thrive in a home where someone is around often, and I wouldn't mind snuggling up with you at night for some cozy doggy cuddles. I can handle being left alone for a little while, but I do prefer it if you're not gone for too long. I might cry for a bit when you leave, but don't worry-I settle down and, lucky for you, I'm not destructive when waiting for you to come back. As far as housebreaking goes, I'm mostly there! If you take me out every 2-3 hours, I won't have an accident. And if I'm left alone for a bit, I usually do just fine-though sometimes I get a little too excited when you come back, and, well, a tiny tinkle happens. I co-exist with other dogs, but I'm not a fan of overly energetic playmates-probably because I'm on the petite side! I'd prefer to be your only dog or to live with another calm canine. Cats? Well, I like them too, as long as they're on the calmer side. I did try to play chase with a cat once, and that didn't go over so well-got a little swat on the nose, but hey, I learned my lesson! Valentina is about 5 months old and weighs 12 lbs. We have no idea what Valentina's breed mix is, but we guess JRT/Terrier mix. Valentina is an energetic pup who LOVES other dogs and would love to have another young and playful dog in her forever home. Valentina loves going on walks and her favorite toy is a squeaky ball or tennis ball. Valentina is doing wonderful with house and crate training. Young puppies require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to work on training and socialization. This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help.
