Hi everyone, my name is MiaI am a lap dog who loves all your attention (happy place). It takes me a while to warm up to new peoplebut when I do I become a velcro dog. I will follow you everywhere you go.I love to play with all toys and my fellow small dog siblings. I am okay with large dogs, but they do scareme. I bark at the cat, but I do not do anything else.I am somewhat vocal when I hear noises or when another dog barks. If you leave me home alone, I amnot very happy and I will howl and bark. Who can blame me, I have missed you and would prefer not tobe alone.I am still working on potty training, if you let me out often, I am doing better all the time. I also use apotty pad in the house but occasionally I do go on the floor.I am good in the car.I am not fond of crates, so my foster mom lets me roam and I do just fine. I am a very well-behavedlittle girl, and I am very intelligent. Did I forget to mention that I would sit on your lap all day if I could. If you are busy, I will just lay on the floor by you and that is okay too.I currently live with dogs of all sizes and a cat. I do prefer small dogs as I am not very big myself I havenot been around kids much in my foster home but I think as long as they were respectful and gentlewith me I would be fine. Did I say I love all people especially you if you let me join your family.I am a very sweet and loving little girl who will give you years of all the love I have.If you would consider adopting me my foster mom can tell you more about me.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
