Story
Buddy appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier/other terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 24 pounds. He was found under a bridge in one of the local dumping areas. It is no surprise that Buddy was scared when we first got him, but he quickly warmed up. He loves getting attention from his people. He loves pets and being close to his humans. He loves belly rubs and will roll over on his back whenever you bend over to pick him up. Buddy is small but mighty. He is muscular and high-energy and requires exercise. He loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. Sometimes, he can be naughty and will intimidate one of our more submissive dogs. Yet he backs down when one of the chihuahuas or another dog puts him in his place. Buddy is generally a good boy, and training is a work in progress. He listens well and comes when called. He is crate-trained and fairly well-behaved in the house. We are working on teaching him manners. He gets jumpy when he wants attention and more training is needed. He responds well to "no" and the "tsch" correction (as used by Cesar Milan). It would be best if applicants have dog experience and are willing to hire a trainer if necessary. Buddy would love his new family to play with him, take him on walks, cuddle, and give him a lot of affection and belly rubs. Buddy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Buddy is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Buddy is ready to change his zip code. He is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. Buddy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Glastonbury, Danbury, Lisbon CT, or another scheduled stop closest to you. Story
*FOZZY IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED* Fozzy Bear is the REAL DEAL. Fozzy is a Jack Russell Terrier/Pomeranian mix. He is around 1-2 years old and only 15lbs. He loves everyone of every age and species he meets. Young, old, human, canine... he loves meeting and greeting! He is as smart as he is handsome and learns very quickly. Fozzy is bombproof! He is perfectly housetrained. Toys are his favorite, and he loves to play fetch. But if you tire out, he is quick to jump in your lap and channel surf. He loves a car ride and he walks beautifully on a lead. He also has perfect recall. Fozzy has one quirk... He will bark 100% of the time if you crate him or leave him outside alone for extended periods of time or if you make him sleep in a room alone. This dog loves family and wants to be where you are. Fozzy's best home will have a secured fenced yard. His people will be medium to very active, so he can take leash walks, play fetch, and car trips. An excellent history of vet care for previous or current pets is required. Preference will be given to adopters with specific breed experience. Fozzy is completely vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee of $600 includes the transportation to his new home in CT. New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Fozzy to his new home.  You can apply to adopt Fozzy here: https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application    T HANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
