Meet Cheddar
Meet Cheddar!
Cheddar is an irresistible 8-week-old Jack Russell Chihuahua mix with the most adorable golden-red spots and delicate speckles on her ears. She may be tiny, but she’s bursting with personality—a perfect balance of spunky and snuggly!
Like any young puppy, Cheddar is curious, playful, and learning how to navigate the big world around her. She was likely separated from her family a little too soon, making her a bit cautious at first, but once she feels safe, she’s incredibly affectionate and eager to shower her people with kisses. Beneath her playful energy is a true cuddle bug who loves nothing more than curling up in your arms after a fun play session.
We expect Cheddar to grow to around 14 pounds when fully grown, making her the perfect pint-sized companion. Since she’s still so young, she’ll need to stay out of public spaces and off shared surfaces for at least another eight weeks until she’s fully vaccinated.
Cheddar is a blank slate with no formal training yet, which means she’s looking for a patient, loving family committed to helping her become the best dog she can be. She’ll thrive with:
Positive reinforcement and gentle guidance
Plenty of socialization and basic training
Lots of playtime and, of course, endless snuggles

To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information.
In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to.

All our dogs undergo comprehensive vetting, including spaying/neutering, microchipping, DHPP, flea treatment, deworming, and Rabies vaccinations. Additional vet care is provided as needed based on their requirements. The adoption fee for this dog is $550 serving as a non-refundable donation. Adoption fees may vary based on factors such as vetting costs, transport, and age.
