Story
Bolt is a 3.5 year old purebred husky who was gifted to us when he was a puppy by an acquaintance. His parents are pure bred and they used to have litters that were sold. We have two small children and while he has never shown aggression towards them or me and my husband, he does show aggression towards new people and has history of biting. We've had someone pet sit for us and he bit that person, and he growled at another. He doesn't do well with new people and takes a long time to get comfortable with new cats and dogs, and has tried to bite/nip another dog while on a walk in our neighborhood while leashed. We have other pets and it has become increasingly difficult to keep them separate from bolt. He mainly spends time in the garage and outside, and I don’t think he’s happy or at his potential. He would be suitable in a child free and maybe pet free home.

Story
Hi, I’m Jasmine, a 3-year-old Husky mix with a unique and striking appearance. My icy blue eyes are reminiscent of a Siberian Husky. I embody the personality and stubbornness of a Husky, paired with undeniable loyalty and protectiveness. I'm currently learning how to play ball and am very sweet and playful. In my previous home, I was bullied by children. I would thrive in a household with an active lifestyle and would do best with older kids because of this history. My foster has personally witnessed me blossom and regain my confidence as a family pet. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventatives. I’m healthy and weigh about 70 lbs. **My Silly Personality:** I need my own playmate. I play extremely well with other Huskies and can be tested with cats or small dogs upon request. I love napping with my people and often disappear with my foster daddy for a very competitive snore-off. My favorite treat is oranges, and I will patiently wait while you peel one. I’m very food/treat motivated and have been taught to sit and wait before accepting treats, though I might try to dance on tables for a Milkbone. **My Needs:** I need an experienced and responsible owner who can provide a structured routine. I've worked hard to rebuild my confidence and ability to trust people. I am rather vocal and will growl both when receiving love and when I become nervous or anxious. I can also pace when I’m anxious. I have nipped once but was redirected immediately and have never exhibited that behavior since. I need a fenced yard where I can explore and play (no tie downs or tie outs for this beauty). I do like to slip out the front door on occasion, so you must be aware, but I have a very strong callback. No small children, please. Due to my past experiences, small children are a trigger for me. My new home should have children at least 10-12 years old who understand how to behave with dogs. I’m looking for my special someone who sees past my emotional scars and will love me through my flaws and challenges. I have amazing potential once given the opportunity! I’m being fostered in Smyrna, TN, but I can be transported to other states for the right home.

Story
I got Blu from a woman who was surrendering her to the humane society and i was currently there looking for a puppy. Ive had her since she was a pup and she is so sweet and loving she is 3 years old and full of energy. Shes a big baby ho will lay and lean on you like a baby yorkie forgetting shes a big girl but its all love. Shes adventurous and has a deep love for squeaky toys. i am only giving her up due to landlord issues if not for that id have her forever shes house trained and will bark to let you know she has to use the bathroom. She loves going outside and for walks but sometimes forget shes not leading a pack so practice on side by side walking could help but overall a wonderful joy to have and i just want to find her a loving home where she can be loved on and give her love out

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission.
