Story
Meet Denali 💕🐾 Denali is an 14-week-old Husky/Chihuahua mix who is impossibly adorable, with the kind of striking blue eyes that stop you in your tracks. They’re bright, expressive, and full of curiosity—like she’s always taking in the world and plotting her next little adventure. Paired with her tiny face and soft puppy features, she’s truly heart-melting. She’s silly, playful, and full of spunk, but she also has a sweet, snuggly side and loves curling up close when playtime is over. Denali is doing great with house training and is a surprisingly good communicator—she’ll happily “tell you what she thinks,” but in a charming, not-pushy way that just makes you smile. Her personality is confident, fun, and endlessly entertaining. Denali is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a forever home that will adore her as much as she deserves. With her big blue eyes and big personality, she’s sure to steal hearts wherever she goes. 💙✨

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Tundra! Tundra is 4 months old and weighs about 21 lbs. Tundra's mom is Aspen (also on the website) and she weighs about 32 lbs. Our best guess on this breed mix is Husky/Cattle Dog mix - (Just a Guess). Highlights: Sweet & affectionate Loves to give kisses Vocal boy - loves to hear himself talk Great with dogs (shy at first, but warms up quickly) NEEDS ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME Tundra can climb a chain link fence and should not be left unattended. No cats! Needs an adopter home a good portion of the day to continue with training. Tundra is a super sweet, affectionate puppy. He is very loving and enjoys giving kisses. He loves playing with the dogs in his foster home and playing with toys. Tundra is shy at first, but warms up quickly. He will need another young & confident dog in the home to help build his confidence. He is an adventurous guy - true to the husky in him. Tundra also loves to hear himself talk. Tundra is not in a foster home with children, but we feel he would do ok with children over the age of 5 years. No cats! Tundra can climb a chain link fenced yard and should not be left unattended. Tundra requires an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue training—no exceptions. Tundra is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

If that information is needed, please let us know. -KNOWN WITH KIDS: We do not know how Betty Davis is with kids. -KNOWN CUES: Betty would love your help learning some new cues and tricks. -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Betty has only been at Homeward Trails for a few days, though she seems to understand her crate space and not soil inside of it. -KNOWN LIKES: Treats, attention from human friends, stuffed toys. -KNOWN DISLIKES: Not getting the attention she deserves because her puppies are so cute and everyone wants to snuggle them and forgets about her :( ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Betty Davis just arrived at Homeward Trails with her puppies, and, well...she thinks it's about time that she gets to be the baby and get everyone's attention. Now that her pups are old enough to take a break from her, Betty is single and ready to mingle. Good with kids,
Story
Here's what Atticus's current family shares about him: Atticus is a very sweet pup with energy and enthusiasm to spare! He loves to run and would make an excellent running/hiking partner. He also loves playing with other dogs that match his energy. Atticus is still young and still learning. We've been working hard with him on his manners (including basic obedience training and a 2 week doggie training camp) and he is improving week after week, but he would really thrive with owners who can devote time to work with him very regularly. We have two small children at home, and that has not been a great fit for Atticus. He is still learning boundaries, and while the children don't seem to phase him and he has never shown any aggression towards them, he doesn't seem to know his own size. Atticus LOVES playing with dogs, and has done very well at doggie daycare. We want to find Atticus a home where he can really get his energy out. He is a lot of fun and with attention and a bit more training, he would be a wonderful companion for the right family. Questions About this Animal? -ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 45 lbs -KNOWN WITH DOGS: Would be a GREAT companion for another pup -KNOWN WITH CATS: Young enough to socialize with cats! -KNOWN WITH KIDS: Young enough to socialize with kids!! -KNOWN CUES: None yet, we are still learning about the big world! -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: This is a work in progress! Foster keeps them in a crate, and are working on pad training. -KNOWN LIKES: Playtime, snuggles, and FOOD -KNOWN DISLIKES: Being left ALL on their own. I'm still little!! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Betty Davis had three pups, that are all adorable fluffs of love and happiness. Betty Davis herself is a very sweet and loving dog that is good with other dogs as well as people. These are anticipated to be energetic dogs that would thrive with a family that is active. Notes from the foster: Blair is a beauty. She’s black, brown and white, with the eyes as blue as the sky. She’s absolutely gorgeous and the biggest of the litter. She’s a total lovebug and clamors to be picked up. She loves exploring and playing with toys and her siblings. All 3 are doing incredibly well with house training and know to go potty when taken outside, although some accidents still happen because they are 6 week old babies! They sleep through the night together in a pen, are fully weaned and eat a combo of wet/dry puppy food, and weigh roughly 5-6 pounds each. They are incredibly sweet puppies and crave human interaction. They love adults and have played well with neighbor children. No known contact yet with cats or dogs besides their mama.
