Zoey is a very pretty husky mix, she loves to sing! She is approx. 49 lbs. Zoey is available to someone who has husky experience and is familiar with the breed. A fenced area yard is a must. Come see her at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net. heartworm tested: negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. Oaklyn is a pretty mostly white husky mix. She also has one blue eye, and one brown eye. She is approx. 44 lbs. We feel she would do best in a home without children. Max is a loving and high energetic dog. Not aggressive at all love to play and loves to eat , always leash walk him. He is only 2 years of age, he is very sassy and responsive, he knows a couple tricks, he does suffer from separation anxiety, he enjoys company and music. He needs a good closed in yard to run around. And a good owner to keep company and take him out on walks and runs and play with him. A very Good Boy , just a baby . Requires a lot of supervision just in case he gets a sense of curiosity or social anxiety. But overall a good boy . Looking for a good and loving home

Meet Thor! He’s a barrel of laughs and lots of snuggles once he feels comfortable in his environment. He was rescued from a hoarding situation and likely came up short in socialization, so he’s a bit shy at first until he learns to trust. He’s made great progress in his foster home and loves playing with the dogs there. And he loves balls! Chasing, tossing, carrying, pushing - you name it! He wasn’t so sure he liked the little people who came to visit so a home without young children would probably be best. He’s innocent yet street smart at the same time, afraid someone is out to “catch” him. He’s house trained and would really like a nice couch he and his new family can cuddle on. He’s working on leash walking. A fenced yard would be great but will need to be high because those cute, short,powerful legs can jump an unbelievable 4 feet. Thor would cherish a patient, loving person/family who can help him broaden his comfort zone. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
