Story
Nymie is a sweet girl from Chattanooga, TN. She is about 8 years old and loves to go on walks and give “hugs” (leans on you). She has not had any medical problems. She is very temperamental. She does not like her face touched or close face to face contact. She is food aggressive, but she eats every day next to another dog. If you drop food in front of her, you should not try to keep her from it. She does do well in social settings / large dog parks if there’s no food involved. She can be very vocal over toys. I do not recommend her being around children. I personally have a toddler, and this has been a challenge on my family. We are very concerned about unavoidable situations where food could get my child injured. I would love to keep some contact, this girl has a very special place in the hearts of my little family.

Story
We rescued Mac when we found him abandoned at 2 months old and he became part of our home and brothers with our other dog. Since then we have had a newborn and have not been able to invest the time to get him comfortable with other dogs outside of ours. He is wonderful with humans and our baby and is a total cuddle bug who tries to do the right thing. However with our neighbors his guard dog traits go in overdrive and he constantly barks and tries to get through our fence. We love him so much and want him to have a great home where he is loved, but we just can’t make this work anymore with our newborn and issues with neighbors. Mac will make a wonderful companion to anyone who needs a canine pal and we hope you will give him a chance, as we can’t beat the thought of a shelter, but our time with him is up sadly. We hope he finds you.

Story
Henry is in search of a good home!! He was my father's dog but my father is, unfortunately, no longer able to take care of him. He is very intelligent and learns quickly, he is extremely lovable and always will be on your heels as he is a people puppy! He does very well in inside and outside of the house. He gets along with other dogs and has done well with our children. He is crate trained for when you are not at home and responds extremely well when training with treats. Henry is very playful and full of energy. We are currently working on leash training which has not a fan of but getting better.

Story
Escobar is a 3 year old sweet moody boy. He loves to run and play and is always down for a snuggle. He requires a fenced in yard because he loves to lay in the sun and run around. He’s good on a leash but is potty shy on a leash. He’s half husky and gets vocal when he isn’t getting his way or is having a bad dream. He’s great with other dogs and older kids, toddlers scare him, and cats are unknown.
