Story
Little Joey was bourn 2-21-25 and, being the runt of the litter, is weighing in around 2 pounds right now. He is sight impaired but can see shadows and movement. He will cock his little head back and forth when he hears anything especially when you talk to him. Cutest thing ever. Currently, there are no medical issues with him and no medication is needed for the eyes. We will prefer applications of those families that have blind dog experience as their training is a bit different. He is a puppy and will need all the training that comes along with it. He is using puppy pads pretty good though. Joey will be current on all medical for his age. This guy is so loving and sweet and nothing really fazes him. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richarsonrescue.org. That is also our most current site to see if a pet is still available. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 8, 2025, 12:31 pm

Story
We adopted a 6-year old female husky about 3 years ago. However, we didn't know she was pregnant. Less than 2 months after the adoption, 7 puppies were born and we have given away 5 of them to friends and friends' friends. We still have 2 of the baby dogs (now they are 2 yrs and 5 months old) and the mother dog. Unfortunately, three of our family members have allergies and we can not keep the dogs. We would like to find a new home for Rosalie, one of the female baby dogs. Rosalie is agile and flexible, and she is alert and moves fast. She likes to be with people.
