Story
Bandit is our 9 month old husky we received from a family friend when he was about 3 months old. He has been great up until the last month when he began to growl & sometimes snarl at our daughters (5 & 1.5) completely unprovoked. We have two other dogs & a cat that he gets along great with; he just doest like our girls. My husband & I dont trust him. He used to have free reign of our yard until he started being hostile towards the girls to the point where they couldnt play outside when he was out. Bandits pretty timid & takes a while to get comfortable with you, otherwise, hes a very sweet dog. Weve got about 5 acres & he loves being able to just run. We dont have a fence & weve never had to worry about him running away. We dont require an adoption fee, we just want to ensure he gets to a good home. We prefer to rehome him sooner rather than later so we can have some peace of mind about his behavior towards the girls.

Story
Hi there! We rescued Maynard as a puppy. He is a full blooded Husky. Maynard is a very sweet, extremely, extremely smart dog. He is 2 years old. He knows how to sit, stay, and lay down (although we havent practiced much lately due to life circumstances). He is house trained but has been outside for the last year. He wanted to be outside with my other dog, and we could not get him to come in. The reason we are getting rid of him is only because he doesnt like farm animals such as chickens and ducks. He loves kids, I have two daughters that he is around often. He was raised wiyh cats, and absolutely loves them. He is great with other dogs. However, we have chickens, as do most of our neighbors and we can't risk someone shooting him over their chickens. He has one blue eye and a half blue half brown eye. He is very quiet for a husky. We never hear anything out of him unless there's something wrong. I know this is unusual, but he is very quiet. He is not your typical husky.
