Max is house-trained, playful, and friendly, with a love for being close to people and enjoying tasty dog treats. Hes smart and has already completed 4 weeks of board and train obedience school, so he knows many commands. Max is great with both cats and dogs and would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and mental stimulation. He may need to avoid homes with small children or busy schedules, as he can be a bit of a mouthy attention-seeker and may act out if bored (like trash can diving or counter surfing). With the right person or people who can provide him with the engagement he craves, Max will be a wonderful, loyal companion. We promised Max that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Hello, my name is Hopper! Don`t let my name fool you. I am a spirted young husky who is full of energy. I am a true husky, and I am easily excitable. Unfortunately, my previous owner didn`t take care of me. I am HW positive and I have some health issues related to the heartworms. Hopper needs a special family who can understand his medical needs and his quirks. He can a little overstimulated and easily excited so he will do best with an owner experienced with active breeds. So he will thrive in a structured environment where he can be the only pet. Once he trusts you, Hopper is a loyal friend who will bring endless joy. Unfortunately, the vets don`t know how much longer I have to live. It could be two months or two years. All I want is a family of my own and to know what a loving home is before I cross the Rainbow Bridge.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for? Bandit is our 9 month old husky we received from a family friend when he was about 3 months old. He has been great up until the last month when he began to growl & sometimes snarl at our daughters (5 & 1.5) completely unprovoked. We have two other dogs & a cat that he gets along great with; he just doest like our girls. My husband & I dont trust him. He used to have free reign of our yard until he started being hostile towards the girls to the point where they couldnt play outside when he was out. Bandits pretty timid & takes a while to get comfortable with you, otherwise, hes a very sweet dog. Weve got about 5 acres & he loves being able to just run. We dont have a fence & weve never had to worry about him running away. We dont require an adoption fee, we just want to ensure he gets to a good home. We prefer to rehome him sooner rather than later so we can have some peace of mind about his behavior towards the girls.
