Story
Now accepting applications for Atlas! Atlas is an adult neutered male husky about 2-3 years of age. Atlas LOVES people! He can't wait to greet us when he sees us with a wagging tail and big smile. Atlas can sit, if he is excited this can take a second or two but he can do it. He is learning to walk on leash and coming along nicely. He is used to living with another husky. He is NOT good with cats. Husky's are energetic dogs who require a regular exercise routine to stay healthy and happy. Atlas' adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, started on his vaccination schedule and micro-chipped. If you are interested in meeting Atlas please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to his handsome face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Atlas to be sure he is the right fit for you. If after meeting him you decide he is not the dog for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Story
Now accepting applications for Sasha! Sasha is a 3-year-old spayed female Siberian husky mix. If you are interested in meeting Sasha please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to her beautiful face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Sasha to be sure she is the right fit for you. If after meeting her you decide she is not the dog for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Sasha loves people and has a tendency to forget her manners in her excitement to greet them. But once she settles down she is a lovely girl. Sasha cannot live in a home with cats. She does have a little resource guarding toward food and treats so that would be something her new family will want to work with and be cautious of until she gets to know you. Husky's are energetic dogs and require daily exercise. Long walks, bike rides or a game of fetch are wonderful ways to help Sasha drain her energy and make a lifelong connection with her new family. Sasha's adoption fee is $300, she is spayed, started on her vaccination schedule and microchipped. Can't adopt Sasha yourself but still want to help? You can share her post or make a donation toward her care by clicking the following link. Thank you for your support! https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/mjaw

Story
HHey! Hi there, my name is Cruise. I am so happy you came by. Wanna play? Although I have lots of energy, I am told I’m such a good, sweet boy. I am a lover boy. I love people and I love other dogs to play with, once I get over my extreme excitement of seeing and meeting another dog that might want to play with me. I love to go for walks, but I am still learning that I shouldn’t pull. With the right human and training, I know I will figure it out. My foster Mom says I’m the best, sweetest boy. I had an injury and I have to keep up with my exercise to make sure I stay healthy. My foster Mom says the exercises are easy. I think we are just playing games when we do them. Due to my injury, the Dogtor says living on a farm is not for me. I know Sit, Down, and Bed commands. I do come when I’m called most of the time too. Although I would love a dog friend that can handle my high energy and goofiness, with the right human, I know I would be a great only dog companion as well. I can’t wait to see if we will be best friends. Love, Cruise
