Story
Tank is a 1 year old tri-color Husky with one golden brown eye and one ice-blue eye. This handsome boy is looking for his forever home. Tank is currently on medication for anxiety, which helps him stay calm and relaxed. Despite his anxiety, Tank is a very friendly, well-behaved dog. He gets along great with other dogs and people. He loves to be petted and will shower you with kisses. Tank is generally calm, but he loves to play and gets very excited and bouncy when playtime starts. If you are looking for a loyal and loving companion, Tank could be the perfect match for you!

Story
Now accepting applications for Luna! Luna is a 2 1/2-year-old spayed female blue heeler/husky mix. Oh that nose! If you are interested in meeting Luna please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to her beautiful face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Luna to be sure she is the right fit for you. If after meeting her you decide she is not the dog for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Luna has been shuffled around a bit, we are the sixth place she has landed that we are aware of. That much change can have an affect on a dog. Luna is not good with young children and prefers women to men. She is very playful and loves her toys and treats. She is protective of her home and will bark at the window if she can see people and pets walking past. She is not destructive when left at home free range and is used to being crated at night. Luna is incredibly smart and knows how to sit, lay down, shake a paw, come and spin. Anyone who has experience with blue heelers will not be surprised by any of this behaviour. Luna is the perfect size, not too big, not too small, standing at knee height and weighing 15.8 kg/ 34.76 lbs. While Luna is reactive to other dogs on leash, she does play with them off leash. She is a rough player so a dog that will tolerate her play style would be best. Luna's adoption fee is $300, she is spayed, started on her vaccination schedule and microchipped. Can't adopt Luna yourself but still want to help? You can make a donation toward her care by clicking the following link and by sharing her post. Luna says, "Thank you for your support!"https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/mjaw
