Story
Meet Heeah! Hey, future family! I'm Heeah, a 5-year-old Husky/Jindo mix with a stunning tan and white coat. I might be 15 kg of fluff, but I've got a heart full of love and a playful spirit that's ready to bring joy into your life! My Story: I came to the shelter with another dog, wearing a bright orange collar that matched my sunny personality. Now, I'm searching for a forever home where I can share my affectionate nature and unique charm with a family who'll appreciate all the love I have to give. Why I'm Special: Affectionate & Friendly: I'm all about the cuddles! Whether you're an old friend or a new face, I'm quick to warm up, rubbing against you and happily accepting all the pets. Once I'm comfortable, I'll even roll over and show you my belly-who can resist that? Playful Pooch: I love meeting new dogs and always approach with a friendly wag and a playful invitation. Just keep an eye out if there are toys or snacks involved-I might get a little protective. But don't worry, I'm learning to share! Outdoor Enthusiast: I enjoy my time outside, whether it's a brisk walk or a playful romp. I've got plenty of experience on the leash and follow along nicely without pulling. After a fun day, I'm happy to relax and enjoy some quiet time with you. Calm & Composed: I'm well-behaved in a kennel and prefer to keep my business outside. I'm also pretty quiet, only growling a bit when I need to protect what's important-like you! Pretty & Unique: With my mix of Husky and Jindo traits, I've got a look that's as unique as my personality. I'm active and playful, with a friendly nature that makes me a great companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. Heeah's Dream Home: I'm looking for a family who loves outdoor adventures as much as I do but also appreciates a calm and affectionate companion at the end of the day. I'd do well in a home where I can be active, meet new friends, and maybe even have a cozy spot to curl up in after a fun day. If you're looking for a playful, loving dog who's ready to fill your life with joy, I'm your girl! Ready to make Heeah a part of your family? I can't wait to meet you and start our journey together! Let's make every day a new adventure filled with love, fun, and lots of belly rubs. Story
Mindy is a purebred Siberian Husky, but she has a remarkably petite body size compared to others of her breed. Although she is already three years old, everyone assumes she is still a puppy. She is a very energetic dog and is usually curious about everything outdoors. Sometimes, she can get overly excited, so it would be ideal if her new owner has some experience with dogs. However, at home, she is incredibly well-behaved and well-mannered. When you sleep, she moves quietly to avoid disturbing you. If you don’t to share your food with her, she will simply wait patiently and never try to snatch it. If there is something you don't want her to do, you only need to tell her once, and she will remember it forever. You will soon realize that she is more than just a pet-she is like a child. If you argue or raise your voice at home, she will quickly come over to comfort and appease you. She never barks loudly, nor does she ever show any anger or hostility toward humans.

Story
Harley and Shelbey are twin girls. They are doing well in their foster home and are good with other dogs - big or little. They are good with people and are well behaved on leash and off. They are in great health, spayed and up to date on shots, weighing about 27 kg. They like to go for walks and adventures, and ride well in the car. They are housetrained as well. ``According to their foster it is at the dog park that these girls really shine. They like to run, wrestle and get along well with other dogs. Although they are still a bit nervous of strangers, they are coming along and are very affectionate to those they know. Inside the home, they are quiet, tidy, not destructive and generally calm. Of the two Harley is the one that most loves a good walk and to run around. Although they are good with other dogs and each other, they do not need to be adopted together. If you live in Ontario and would like to meet them and learn about our foster to adopt program, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com.

Meet Bolt – The Sweet and Shy Husky Mix Who Will Steal Your Heart! BOLT | M | 1 YEAR OLD | HUSKY X | 65 lbs Bolt is a stunning, shy boy with so much love to give once he’s comfortable with you. As a young Husky mix, he’s still learning the ropes and could benefit from a patient and understanding family who will help him grow into the confident, well-mannered dog he’s destined to be. While he may be a bit reserved at first—giving a little chuff or bark when meeting new people—just give him 30 seconds to sniff and settle in, and he’ll quickly turn into putty in your hands. With his handsome looks and sweet, docile nature, Bolt is the type of dog who quietly observes and will melt hearts with his bursts of playful energy. He’s a quiet companion in the home, content to soak up affection once he’s built trust with his humans. As he’s still in the early stages of training, Bolt would thrive in a home with a family who has the time and resources to guide him through his developmental years. He would also benefit from a confident resident dog to help him with socialization and show him the way when it comes to building trust and appropriate behavior. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion with a heart full of love to give, Bolt could be the perfect match. Are you ready to help this shy boy bloom into the confident young man he’s meant to be? If you would like to meet Bolt, please contact anna.sankar@dogtopia.com to set up a meet & greet at Dogtopia of Aurora Village where he is being fostered

Story
Quick Facts Name: Chance Age: 4 years Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Akita Mix Colour: Ivory (a mix of white and light brown) Weight: 23 kg My Story Hello there! I'm Chance, and I can't wait to tell you a little about myself. My journey began back in 2021 when I was rescued from a shelter in Gwangju. I was found in quite a tough situation, but now I'm ready for a fresh start with a loving family! My Social Side I'm a gentle soul with a curious heart. At first, I might take my time warming up to new people, but if you offer me a tasty treat, I promise to come around quickly! I love food, especially a variety of snacks, though I prefer to take my time enjoying them rather than gobbling everything at once. Once I feel comfortable, I love to be petted and might even show you my belly as a sign of trust. I enjoy being around kids, especially those under 13; they always bring a smile to my face! I also have a friendly nature when it comes to other dogs. I like to say hello and, once I'm comfortable, I'm happy to play! I'm still getting used to cats; I tend to get a bit excited when I see them, but I'm learning to stay calm. My Energy Level & Walks My energy level is just right. I enjoy my outdoor adventures and walks, but after a fun day, you can find me happily resting at home. I'm pretty good on a leash, although I sometimes get excited and might pull a little-just a pup being playful! Occasionally, my excitement gets the best of me, and I might bounce around happily, but I always make sure to wait for my walking buddies if they fall behind. More About Me I may not bark much, but when I do, it's usually to let you know if something interesting is happening around us. I've learned how to hop into the car by myself, though I prefer to be guided to the right spot first. One of my favorite things is toys-especially squeaky ones! I love to play and engage, and I know how to sit for a treat. It takes me a little time to show my playful side, but once we bond, you'll see my fun-loving spirit shine through! Even though I'm four years old, I still have a cute, puppy-like charm with my soft, droopy eyes. When it's mealtime for the humans, I like to sidle up and rest my face against their chair, patiently waiting for a little something to fall my way. Last Message Overall, I'm a sweet and adaptable pup, looking for a forever home where I can share my love and companionship. Are you ready to be my new friend? I promise to fill your life with joy and warmth! Videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRNg8NjTkRU&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jx8XZNSUWLLB2zHPSNEBqOM ##2260907##

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Duke Age: Under 2 years old (estimated) Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Alaskan Malamute Color: White & Black Weight: 23 kg Height: 60–70 cm (shoulder height when standing) Microchip Number: 410 097 800 546 264 Health History Treatments: Tested negative for 4DX, Treated for Giardia with prescribed medication on December 5, 2024. All About Me Hello, future family! My name is Duke, and I’m a young Alaskan Malamute with a heart as big as my paws. My journey started with a little hardship, but I’ve come so far, and I’m ready to share my playful, loving nature with someone special—maybe you! Personality I’m the kind of dog who makes friends wherever I go. Whether it’s a stranger or someone I’ve known for a while, I love to greet everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle nuzzle. My favorite way to show affection is to roll over and let you rub my belly—sometimes even on our very first meeting! Despite my size, I have a sweet, goofy charm that makes me hard to resist. People say I’m like the lovable class clown because I always manage to bring smiles to everyone around me. My Energy Level & Walks Exploring the outdoors is my favorite thing to do! Walks are a chance for me to stretch my legs and satisfy my curiosity. Sometimes, I get so excited about all the new smells and sights that I might pull on the leash a bit, but with a little guidance, I know I’ll get better. I’m also great in the car—I can hop in and out on my own and settle down quietly during the ride. Whether it’s a trip to the park or a weekend adventure, I’m always ready to go! Life at Home At home, I’m a sweet and loving companion. I’m happy to use indoor pads or go outside for bathroom breaks, but I’ll count on you to keep my space tidy so I can avoid any accidental messes. I’m curious about everything, especially things on counters or shelves, so you might catch me sneaking a peek at what’s up there! I’m always up for mealtime and treats—it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. I’m polite when it comes to sharing food and toys, but I’m very enthusiastic about eating, so feeding time is always an exciting event for me! One of my quirks is that I like to talk in my own special way. Whether it’s a little howl to say hello when you come home or a playful “woof” to ask for attention, I just love expressing myself. My Ideal Home I dream of a home filled with love, activity, and understanding. Here’s what I’m hoping for in my forever family: Active Lifestyle: I thrive with plenty of outdoor time, walks, and adventures. Gentle Patience: I’m still learning the ropes, and with your guidance, I’ll be the best companion ever. Companionship: I adore being around people and will happily keep you company wherever you go. Last Message If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, I might be the perfect fit for you. Let’s start this amazing journey together—I can’t wait to meet you!
