Story
Hi, my name is Timber,Neutered MaleHusky x German Shepherd Mixapprox. 4 years, 8 months oldI'm a very charming boy full of love. On a quest to find my forever home, my heart is brimming with love, and I thrive on companionship and adventure! I love to have something engaging to do, whether it's exploring new places or enjoying active play. After a day filled with excitement and activity, there's nothing more I appreciate than the comfort of a good snooze!Along with a strong love for human companionship, affection and adventure, I have displayed signs of Resource Guarding. Given this, I would benefit in a home with knowledge of Resource Guarding and a willingness to continue training. My reactions to:Cats - I've lived in a home with cats though as I can be nervous and unsure of new things I would benefit with a slow calm introductionDogs - I can be anxious, nervous and potential territorial around other dogs, for the time being I'd prefer being the only canine in the homeMeeting new people - I adore meeting everyone, give me a good butt scratch or yummy treat, we'll be the best of friends Children - As I can be overly excited and bouncy, I may benefit from a home with older children or a slow introduction to smaller childrenObedience training - I'm still learning and would benefit some extra time though I've shown great improvement during my time at the shelterLeash walking - I can display excitement and eagerness on my leash. I would benefit from some extra attention, but like everyone says practice makes perfect!Crates/My kennel - I am still adjusting to my kennel though I've shown great improvement entering/exiting with ease. Though I'd much rather be out doing my own thingHouse trained - I do my best to hold my business until I am able to relieve myself outsidePlaytime - I absolutely love being outside! Whether it is basking in the sun or playing a good game of fetch, I'll be there! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 25.036 Age: 4yrs 8mths 2wks

Story
Hello everyone, I'm Charah. I am 10 years old, but don't let that fool you, I still have plenty of energy for fun and adventures! Believe it or not I just had my last litter of puppies and now it's my turn to relax and enjoy the rest of my days with a loving family. I love going on hikes and exploring the great outdoors but I've seldom been on a leash, so I'd need some help getting used to that; the staff and volunteers are working with me to perfect my walking skills. I am a very sweet and friendly girl, I always try my best to follow the rules. Oh, and did I mention I'm house trained? You won't have to worry about any messes with me around. I would like a quiet household as I can be quite shy of new people, I will need some assistance with learning how to greet new people as I can let out a loud bark if I am not familiar with them. With some training I am sure I will overcome my fear, treats are the key to my heart so as long as you have some I am sure we'll get along! One thing that is for sure is that I do not like the shelter, not one bit. I am very anxious here. The staff are trying their best to keep me happy but nothing compares to a home. I would love to be in a home where I can be by your side for most of the day and night. I really enjoy being with people. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion I can guarantee you'll find that in me. Please contact the shelter to meet me, I really can't wait! Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 20.9 Age: 10yrs 1mths 0wks
