Meet Bruno: A Sweet, Outgoing, Adventure-Loving Husky MixBruno is a 1.5-year-old male Husky mix with a happy heart, bright eyes, and a whole lot of puppy charm. Friendly and outgoing, this sweet boy loves meeting people and soaking up attention—especially if cuddles and treats are involved!Still very much in his puppy phase, Bruno can be a bit bouncy and enthusiastic. He may jump when excited and pull on the leash, but with some guidance and consistency, he has all the potential to grow into a well-mannered companion. He’s eager, affectionate, and ready to learn.Bruno thrives outdoors and would love an adopter who enjoys spending time outside—whether that’s walks, playtime, or simply exploring the world together. After a fun day, he’s more than happy to settle in for snuggles and affection.Bruno is good with cats and would need a dog meet-and-greet with any resident dogs prior to adoption to ensure a good match. This lovable guy is looking for a patient, committed adopter who can continue his training and help him channel his energy in positive ways. In return, Bruno will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and joyful companionship. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, cuddly adventure companion, Bruno can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Amarok is a gentle northern girl with a calm, loving spirit who is ready to find her forever family. Though she’s about eight years old, she still has a youthful energy for long walks and outdoor adventures - but when she’s inside, she’s the picture of relaxation and contentment.Amarok adores being with her people and would be happiest in a home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches. She coexists peacefully with other dogs in her foster home, though she doesn’t interact much with them, and would do equally well as an only dog if she had plenty of human companionship. She has a prey drive and will happily chase after squirrels, rabbits, or cats, so a cat-free home is best. On walks, she does best in a harness, though her foster sometimes uses a slip lead for extra control when wildlife appears.Amarok is perfectly house-trained, shows no destructive habits, and has no signs of separation anxiety. She isn’t interested in toys, but she absolutely loves her walks and the chance to explore. Liver treats are her favorite reward, though she’s happy to snack on carrots, blueberries, or watermelon too.She has met children and was calm and friendly, so we believe she would do well in a home with respectful kids. Visitors are always welcomed warmly - no jumping, just gentle greetings. Her ideal forever home could be with a single person, couple, or family, as long as she has time with her humans and daily exercise. A fenced yard would be wonderful, but she would also be perfectly happy with regular walks and hikes. Amarok is not high-energy but is far from a couch potato - she strikes the perfect balance.Despite her age, Amarok still has a youthful spark and so much love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will enjoy life’s adventures as much as life’s quiet moments, Amarok may just be the perfect match! Please note that due to the high volume of applications our volunteers process, we will only contact those with a strong potential for a successful match. A home that is active and has the time to work with Radar to overcome his fears and show him the outside world isn’t scary. Radar needs a lot of attention to help keep him properly physically and mentally stimulated. Radar is very smart and loves playing with his humans. Good with other cats? Unknown Good with dogs? Radar is still learning about other dogs and can be very excited when meeting them. With proper introduction, he might do well with a dog sibling to help keep him busy and learn how to dog. Radar can be “a bit much” for some dogs. Good with children? Not recommended for kids under 14Temperament: Active, smartMotivators? treatsAny commands? Sit, down, spin, come, back up, look (focus his attention on you)House trained? Almost. Still has some accidentsCrate trained? YesHow long will it take to settle into a new environment? 3-3-3 rule: First 3 days - Your dog may be overwhelmed and may hide, have a lack of appetite, or test boundaries. Give them space and time to adjust in a quiet room with their bed, food, water, and toys. 3 weeks - Your dog may start to settle in and their personality will emerge. You can expect behavior issues to arise, so set boundaries and expectations with positive reinforcement training. 3 months - Your dog should be comfortable and acclimated to your home. They should know their routine and expect meals and enrichment at specific times.Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Hi, I'm Champ!  As you can see from my photos, I'm a pretty handsome guy with a great smile. In typical husky fashion, I have a LOT of energy and would love to be your hiking, running or swimming buddy. I even have a number of tricks to keep you entertained! I look up to the great Houdini and have been known to make great escapes of my own. All of my furriends are impressed when they hear about the times I've jumped over fences and broke through crates! The PDA handlers describe me as goofy, loving, loyal and sweet. DOB: 2021 Approx 70lbs Breed: Husky mix, approx 90lbs
