Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! I’m Eystri.  My foster mom said it’s what the locals call the Diamond Beach in Iceland because that’s what my beautiful eyes remind her of, but I go by Gemma for short. Click here and here to see how beautiful I am! I’m  a bundle of curiosity and energy wrapped in fur and sometimes I pretend I’m a panther! I’m super confident and always ready to take on whatever adventure comes my way. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the backyard, or sniffing out new things, I’m constantly on the go and looking for something fun to do. I’m also really smart—like, I pick up new tricks and commands faster than I can finish my meal (which, by the way, I’m ALWAYS ready for more of!). I love learning, so if you're willing to teach me, I’ll keep surprising you with how quickly I can master new skills. While I’m all about action and adventure, I’m also a cuddler at heart. After a long day of play, I’ll happily snuggle up with you for some quality downtime. But don’t let my love for cuddles fool you—I need a home that can keep up with my energy and help me channel it in the right direction. A playful dog buddy to show me the ropes and a family with experience in training would be the perfect fit for me! Or a running buddy! Click here to see how much I love to play with my dog friends! I am fantastic with kids of all ages! While I haven’t tested her with cats, my high prey drive suggests I’d do best in a cat-free home. I have the fun, spirited sass typical of Huskies and would thrive in an active household with a fenced yard where I can run and wrestle. I believe I would excel in advanced agility training or even task training, making me a great companion for someone energetic and engaged!  So, if you’re an active household looking for a smart, inquisitive pup who’s ready for both cuddles and challenges, I’m your girl! Let’s make every day an adventure together! If you are curious, here is a video of my daily routine with my awesome foster! Eystri is from a local impound. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD I'm very smart and like learning new tricks. I am a bit of a Velcro dog- don't be surprised if I peek my head in the shower just to make sure you're still there. I want to play, but I'm more of a fan of "chase me than fetch, but I'm getting better at bringing the ball back and dropping it. When I'm super excited, I like to try and talk- I guess that's the husky in me! I would love to be a lap dog but I'm a big girl. I am house trained - I have had zero accidents in my home. I chew my toys, but not the shoes. I take treats very gently. I love going on walks but get excited by small critters and other dogs/people. I do walk best in a harness. I'm told I have a prey drive toward smaller animals - cats, dogs, squirrels, bunnies. I am dog selective and need slow intros to other dogs. I would be ok with another dog in the home as long as they are my size or bigger and we've had proper introductions with plenty of supervised playtime. I need a fenced in backyard and have been known to jump over a smaller fence. 5 feet is good. I do great in my kennel. I go in easily with a little treat as a reward. I rarely bark, mostly at those darn squirrels that chatter at me from the tree. As you can see, I'm gorgeous and I know it. I hate to brag, but my foster says I'm a very sweet, loving, smart, goofy, playful dog. I need a family that understands that I may never be a dog that can go to the dog park or socially hang out with other dogs due to my dog sensitivity. But I do promise to love you unconditionally and be the sweetest dog ever to my family. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Meet **Trout**-our little warrior with a heart of gold! After bravely battling through parvo and mange, Trout has shown he's a true fighter who never gives up. With a sassy personality and a silly streak, he absolutely adores having his ears scratched and will melt into your lap for cuddles. Though he's still figuring out the fun of toys, Trout's signature move is picking them up and dashing off, as if on a secret puppy mission. This loving, cuddly boy is learning to set his boundaries with the older dogs but is wonderfully submissive. If you're looking for a resilient, playful, and affectionate companion, Trout is ready to bring joy and snuggles into your life. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St Peter, MN Coco is a total sweetheart and is sure to win you over! She is fully house and kennel trained with no issues. She will let you know when she needs to go outside -she will whimper. Absolutely loves the snow and rain. She is roughly 45lbs. She is the sweetest and very alert of her surroundings and will stop and make sure on walks if she sees something and looks at you. Very good with other dogs, kids, and people in general. Super curious and nosey. Beautiful colors on her coat. Loves bones of all sorts. Still have some issues with chewing on things if left alone for too long, thinking she's bored and wanting to be around people. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Madison, SD Crumbl is very sweet and affectionate. High energy loves to play chase when tossing a ball or a rubber ring. She walks well on a leash. I am not sure about with cats as my cat has not wanted to make friends at this time so the cat has kept to herself. Crumbl is funny and loves to be goofy always ready to play. Crumbl has had no accidents in the house, she is house trained. She seems to me to very intelligent and attentive to what I am doing. She is kennel trained and goes in when told to go in. She loves toys, plush toys are fun but have to be well made as she loves to play hard. When she gets sleepy she is also very snuggly. It has been such a joy already to have Crumbl here. She is so beautiful, vibrant and full of life. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
