Story
Location: Ramsey, MN Hi, I’m Yeti! Though I am somewhat of an independent girl, I am always watching my people, and I get along just fine with the kids and resident dog in my foster home. I also live with cats but I bark and chase every time I see them. When the cats aren’t around, I’m a bit more reserved and laid back than most puppies my age — I do like to play, but I tend to observe before joining in. I’m working on all of the typical puppy things like going potty outside and learning what is okay to chew on. I’m on track to be a great companion to any type of person or family! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Ramsey, MN Hello, I’m Pegasus! I am a social and playful girl with a serious snuggle side. I know how to play with young, active kids and other dogs, but my foster mom thinks I might be too curious about cats. I don’t want to hurt them, but I love to chase! I am working on house training, crate training, using a leash, and following basic commands. I sure love getting treats when I do it all correctly, so by the time I come home with you, I’ll have a good start! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Look INTO my EYES!! Deeeeeeeper.....deeeppppeerrrrr!! Do you see it???? I am a HUGE goofball! I run and play and play and run and have all kinds of gallooppiinggg friends too. I came to the rescue with a badly broken back leg. It hurt and I couldn't use it and it was just bad jooojoooo. BUT, my leg has created its own callous and even though it has a bump where the bones have healed over each other... I don't need surgery anymore!! So I do lift my leg up when I run sometimes, but no worries.. it is so much better now! I want a happy go lucky family, with friend/s for me too. I am kind of like a big floppy puppy. I am waiting for you and your family, hurry up and adopt me!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxI'm so very pleased to meet you!  I'm good with kids and love other dogs. I like to spend my days busying myself with toys and doggie chewies.  I like to stay active too by running and playing in the yard.  However, I usually fit a few naps into my day as well.  After all, who doesn't like a nap?  I'm learning what potty pads are and that I really should go outside to do my dirty business but it takes time to establish those habits.  I love to cuddle with my humans too. I'm searching for a fabulous forever home to share my life and love with! Do you want a great friend to join your family?  Well, adopt me and let's start making lasting memories together!  * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! I’m Eystri.  My foster mom said it’s what the locals call the Diamond Beach in Iceland because that’s what my beautiful eyes remind her of, but I go by Gemma for short. Click here and here to see how beautiful I am! I’m  a bundle of curiosity and energy wrapped in fur and sometimes I pretend I’m a panther! I’m super confident and always ready to take on whatever adventure comes my way. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the backyard, or sniffing out new things, I’m constantly on the go and looking for something fun to do. I’m also really smart—like, I pick up new tricks and commands faster than I can finish my meal (which, by the way, I’m ALWAYS ready for more of!). I love learning, so if you're willing to teach me, I’ll keep surprising you with how quickly I can master new skills. While I’m all about action and adventure, I’m also a cuddler at heart. After a long day of play, I’ll happily snuggle up with you for some quality downtime. But don’t let my love for cuddles fool you—I need a home that can keep up with my energy and help me channel it in the right direction. A playful dog buddy to show me the ropes and a family with experience in training would be the perfect fit for me! Or a running buddy! Click here to see how much I love to play with my dog friends! I am fantastic with kids of all ages! While I haven’t tested her with cats, my high prey drive suggests I’d do best in a cat-free home. I have the fun, spirited sass typical of Huskies and would thrive in an active household with a fenced yard where I can run and wrestle. I believe I would excel in advanced agility training or even task training, making me a great companion for someone energetic and engaged!  So, if you’re an active household looking for a smart, inquisitive pup who’s ready for both cuddles and challenges, I’m your girl! Let’s make every day an adventure together! If you are curious, here is a video of my daily routine with my awesome foster! Eystri is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Click here to watch a video of Eystri.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 12, 2025, 8:36 am
