Story
I find myself in a position where I am looking for a new home, through no fault of my own. Sky is my name and I'm a friendly, 2 year old, male Siberian Husky mix. My owner had health problems and wasn't able to devote the time it takes to care for an active boy like me. She said I do well with cats but am not fond of other canines. I lived with older children and did well with them. If you're looking for a medium size boy, I weigh just 47 pounds so I might be the one for you! I'm looking for a home where people are around most of the time because I don't like being alone. And someone who has the energy to keep up with me!

Meet Pru! Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Good with kids: Yes Kennel trained: Yes DOB: 3/2/24 Adoption fee: $500 - Includes current vaccines and microchip Fence required: no If you would like to be considered for adoption, please complete an application at emotionalrescuedogs.org Pru is a stunningly beautiful girl who is in love with the world around her. You’ll often catch her looking up into the sky, smelling the air and smiling. She is filled with wonder and a joy to watch. Pru is possibly a Husky/Shepherd mix. She the perfect mix of both wonderful breeds and is smart. She benefits from a leader who can teach her what is expected and to tune in to communicate. Teaching her HOW to behave through kind guidance is what will really make your relationship special. If you wait for her to figure it out on her own, you'll both be disappointed. In her foster home, Pru interacts every day with other dogs, cats and children. She loves a good game of tug of war, family walks, hugs and kisses, and a good nap after play time. And she likes it when her foster mom sings “Dear Prudence” to her. Pru is an active, inquisitive puppy. Playing games that engage her brain as well as her body will help her learn that she doesn't have to go in search of stimulation. Being a puppy, Pru is working on housebreaking, basic commands and leash manners. It’s a lot for a little kid and she is doing well. If you believe Pru would make a wonderful, forever addition to your loving home, please complete an application at emotionalrescuedogs.org. And please feel free to ask questions about her. Please read A Letter From Your New Dog on our website. Pru is the poster child for a dog that benefits from kind leadership. ##2130574##

Story
Hi! I'm Berlin, an exceptionally handsome 2-year-old Husky, weighing in at 55 pounds of playful affection. I'm eagerly looking to find my pack and here to tell you a bit about me in case you're it!Although I can be momentarily a bit shy when first meeting someone, I'll quickly warm up and consider you a friend. I become incredibly affectionate to anyone that gets to know me, showering my people with plenty of kisses and snuggles. I have the most adorable habit of wrapping my legs around yours to keep you close.I LOVE dogs and gladly co-habitate with 3 resident pups currently in my foster home. I'll show a friendly hello to other dogs out and about by sniffing and wagging my tail. When it comes to cats, we shouldn't mix. As for kids, I have previously lived harmoniously with an eight-year-old and would likely do well with kids of any age, although the younger ones may get knocked over! When it comes to crate training, I am pretty awesome as I particularly like the comfort my crate provides, and am used to sleeping and eating in my crate. Although I might be slightly bummed when you leave the house initially, I'll settle into some time alone with no issues and don't get anxious. I also am chill in the car, and am always ready for a new adventure. As with many dogs my breed, I can be vocal in communicating with my humans, but mostly when I need to go out and want to play or when you've just come back and I want to say hello. I'm not particularly vocal all things considered.I'm a guy with energy so I thrive most on regular exercise and would benefit from a tall fenced-in yard (e.g., 6-foot privacy fence would be the best) where I can run and play safely.I can be a bit picky with my food choices, but with trial and error you'll figure out some of my favorite things, like zucchini and sweet potato, I'm a healthy guy! You'll want to be sure to give me a good brush/groom regularly to keep me looking my best with my beautiful thick coat.My priorities for my ideal home include love, patience and plenty of playtime! Are you looking for an affectionate, playful pup in return? Whether it's chasing toys, enjoying cuddles on the couch, or going for a run, I'll always be your loyal companion to take on life with.If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling:https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities.
