Story
Beau will be 2 in February. He is a fixed German Shephard / Siberian Husky Mix. Treat Trained. Knows commands. Can be vocal around new people but acclimates fairly quickly and stays quiet. Good walker. Better as a single home dog with adults and /or older children, no cats. He currently lives with his "sister", a young female German Shepherd, but would likely thrive solo. Active pretty guy who is very gentle, loves cheese, toys, peanut butter, and belly scratches. He e is crate trained, house trained, and has multiple beds & toys we can provide. He loves walks or running in a fenced yard, and horseplay. Due to a progressing cancer diagnosis, we need to find him a loving forever home asap.

Story
This 6-year-old Husky is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! At 65 pounds, Bandit is a large, playful, and sweet boy who is ready to be your partner in crime. He is always ready to cuddle up to you and he'll let you know—he's happy to paw at you or nudge your arm with his nose to get your attention!Like many Huskies, Bandit has plenty of energy and would thrive with multiple walks or play sessions daily. He enjoys gnawing on bones or teething toys, and matches the energy of younger dogs during playtime. Despite his high energy, he’s calm and relaxed when it’s just him. Bandit has had great experiences with other dogs and with children. He is friendly and has previously lived with multiple children, so he makes for a great family dog! While his behavior with cats is unknown, Bandit is generally good-natured and adaptable.Bandit has adapted to his new foster home very well so far, though some training will still be needed. He’s crate-trained, comfortable spending time there when needed, and occasionally naps in his crate voluntarily. He is house-trained, and stays calm and respectful with belongings when home alone. When it comes to future training, he will still need to break his habit of marking his territory indoors, and stealing food off of plates—he's just so quick! Bandit is also a classic Husky escape artist, so he will require a secure, fenced yard to ensure his safety. This cuddly, energetic Husky is ready for a family who can provide him with the exercise, training, and love he needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful companion who doubles as a couch cuddler, Bandit is your guy!If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Story
Have you even seen a cuter husky? This 2-year-old, 60-pound Siberian Husky has a stunning black-and-white coat and a personality as charming as his looks! Whether he's tossing toys around, having fun with friends at doggie daycare, or crossing his front paws in his signature lounging pose, Dodger will steal your heart. This sweet and playful boy is fully house-trained and crate-trained—his crate is his cozy safe haven. Dodger has adjusted well into his foster home, bonding very easily and getting comfortable on all the furniture. He loves to talk, especially when he's excited to come out of his crate or ready to play. He thrives on daily activity, like going for runs with his humans, long walks, or playing with other dogs. While he's not overly hyper, he does need consistent exercise to stay happy, and could use a little more leash training. Because of his loud talking and his energy levels, Dodger will need a fenced yard with a 4-foot fence minimum or a running partner, and a home without shared walls (no apartments/condos).Dodger loves playing with other dogs, but is still learning from always being an only-dog. He gets along with his foster sister and could adjust to having a canine sibling or enjoy being the sole center of attention. However, he does not share toys well or play well with small dogs, so a home where this can be managed effectively is important. While Dodger could be a great family dog because he gets along well with children, he will not be able to live in a home with cats.If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and talkative companion, Dodger is ready to charm his way into your heart and home!If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Story
Jackson is a lively 15-week-old Husky mix who is ready to play! Currently 21 pounds, he is expected to be a medium to large-sized dog. This smart, high-energy pup thrives on playtime and loves wrestling and running with his dog family in his foster home. Jackson is working on house-training, and he hasn’t attempted crate training in his current foster home. He’s very treat-motivated and adaptable, so training should be a breeze in his future home. Jackson also prefers not to sleep on a bed, which could make him a great fit for someone who doesn’t want their dog on furniture. He is vocal when he wants something, so a home without shared walls will be required (no apartments/townhomes). He enjoys being around other dogs and responds positively to them outside the home. However, Jackson has not yet met cats or children, so his behavior around them is unknown.Jackson requires regular exercise and he seems to enjoy chasing critters, so a fenced yard will be required for his safety. He would thrive in a home with an active family or other dogs to keep him company, as he doesn’t like to be lonely. If you’re looking for a playful and smart companion who will keep you on your toes (literally!), Jackson might just be the perfect match! If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Story
Jovie is an adorable 4-month-old Husky mix who is ready for an adventure! Currently weighing about 25 pounds, this little pup is full of energy and curiosity. She is making progress with house training, consistently using potty pads and beginning to understand outdoor potty breaks. She’s crate-trained and settles in well at night with a treat, though she doesn’t love being left alone. As a Husky mix, she loves to “sing” her feelings, but she has adjusted well to staying quieter for the neighbors.Jovie's ideal home will be with a family that can keep up with her high energy, provide regular exercise, and ideally offer a fenced yard for her to run and play. She likes to go on multiple walks per day, and loves to run outside. She loves her crinkle toys, outdoor playtime, and romps with other dogs—especially big ones. She hasn’t met any cats yet but would likely do best with a confident feline who can handle her playful energy. Her trainable nature suggests she could adapt well to a family with children. This playful pup will bring plenty of joy to her forever home. With patience, love, and consistent training, Jovie will grow into a wonderful companion full of life and love!If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Story
Walter is an adorable 4-month-old Husky mix who is learning more every day! Currently weighing 25 pounds, this sweet and affectionate pup will love being by your side.Walter has been quick to make himself right at home! He adjusts easily, so he has been doing well with crate training and settles quickly. He is still learning the ropes of potty training, so while he is good at using potty pads indoors, his family will need a little patience to help him associate outdoor spaces with potty time. Walter is vocal when he’s frustrated or wants attention, showing a touch of Husky sass, but he’s improving with guidance. This smart and eager-to-please puppy is already learning what it takes to become a great roommate. While he's a bit cautious when making new dog friends, he gets along well with other dogs and he happily runs and plays with them. While he hasn’t been introduced to cats or kids yet, his ability to respect boundaries with dogs suggests he could adjust well with proper introductions. This pup has plenty of energy and loves running around, playing with his beloved crinkle toys, chewing on a Kong, and going on walks. While he’d thrive with a fenced yard for safe outdoor exercise, it’s not a dealbreaker if his new family provides him with an active lifestyle. If you’re ready for a loving, playful pup who will bring joy to your life, Walter might just be the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550.
