Story
Beau will be 2 in February. He is a fixed German Shephard / Siberian Husky Mix. Treat Trained. Knows commands. Can be vocal around new people but acclimates fairly quickly and stays quiet. Good walker. Better as a single home dog with adults and /or older children, no cats. He currently lives with his "sister", a young female German Shepherd, but would likely thrive solo. Active pretty guy who is very gentle, loves cheese, toys, peanut butter, and belly scratches. He e is crate trained, house trained, and has multiple beds & toys we can provide. He loves walks or running in a fenced yard, and horseplay. Due to a progressing cancer diagnosis, we need to find him a loving forever home asap.

Story
This 6-year-old Husky is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! At 65 pounds, Bandit is a large, playful, and sweet boy who is ready to be your partner in crime. He is always ready to cuddle up to you and he'll let you know—he's happy to paw at you or nudge your arm with his nose to get your attention!Like many Huskies, Bandit has plenty of energy and would thrive with multiple walks or play sessions daily. He enjoys gnawing on bones or teething toys, and matches the energy of younger dogs during playtime. Despite his high energy, he’s calm and relaxed when it’s just him. Bandit has had great experiences with other dogs and with children. He is friendly and has previously lived with multiple children, so he makes for a great family dog! While his behavior with cats is unknown, Bandit is generally good-natured and adaptable.Bandit has adapted to his new foster home very well so far, though some training will still be needed. He’s crate-trained, comfortable spending time there when needed, and occasionally naps in his crate voluntarily. He is house-trained, and stays calm and respectful with belongings when home alone. When it comes to future training, he will still need to break his habit of marking his territory indoors, and stealing food off of plates—he's just so quick! Bandit is also a classic Husky escape artist, so he will require a secure, fenced yard to ensure his safety. This cuddly, energetic Husky is ready for a family who can provide him with the exercise, training, and love he needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful companion who doubles as a couch cuddler, Bandit is your guy!If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Story
Have you ever seen a cuter Husky? This 2-year-old, 60 lb Siberian Husky has a stunning black and white coat and a personality as charming as his looks. He would be a perfect dog for a first-time Husky owner. Whether he’s tossing toys around, playing with his friends at doggie daycare, or crossing his front paws in his signature lounging pose, Dodger will steal your heart. This sweet and playful boy is fully house-trained and crate-trained. Dodger has adjusted well into his foster home, bonding very easily. He loves to talk when he’s ready to play or when he’s ready to come out of his crate. He thrives on daily activities like going for long walks, running with his humans, or playing with other dogs. While he doesn’t have the typical crazy Husky energy, he does need consistent exercise to stay happy. Because of his loud talking at times and his exercise needs he will need a home without shared walls (no apartments/condos) and a fenced yard, minimum 4-foot tall fence, so he can explore like he loves to do. Dodger loves to play with other dogs and gets along with his foster sister but he’s still learning how not to be the only dog. He could adjust to having a canine sibling but he does not share toys well so a home where that would be managed effectively is important. He is also not good with small dogs. Dodger would be a great family dog as he gets along with children well. He has stayed with a cat before and did well but dog-savvy cats with a family willing to go slow will be best for everyone. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and talkative companion, Dodger is ready to charm his way into your heart and home. If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Story
Name: Mazzie Breeds: Husky Age: Adult Sex: Female Size: Medium Mazzie is a spitfire of a husky with endless love for her people, a bit of a mischievous streak, and a bit of the classic husky sass! She is an awesome girl. She loves to snuggle, loves to hang out with her people, and is always up for meeting new people. She is housetrained on a schedule, crates for the workday but hates the crate and needs either a sturdy crate or a dog-proofed area to stay. She loves her walks and loves to toss toys around and chew on bones. Her mischievous streak you may ask? This girl is a counter surfer! She is so talented in it she has been known to take dishes out of the sink so delicately in fact that she doesn’t even break them. So she needs someone to keep working on this and keeping things put away so she doesn’t have the opportunity to be inadvertently rewarded for it. Mazzie is excellent with dogs, loves all people, but does like to chase cats too much for her to be safe placed with them. She is a husky and does like to sing the song of her people when she has something to say so needs a home without a shared walls. She would be best with a fenced yard or someone committed to leashed walks (not tie-out) due to her willingness to be a typical husky and go exploring on her own. Requirements: No cats Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives. Story
Name: Stuffy Breeds: Husky/ Pomeranian Mix Age: Young Adult Sex: Female Size: Medium Stuffy is a husky/Pomeranian who is everything a Pomsky should be—good, bad, and everything in between. If you like a dog with lots of personality, mischief, and sass then you will love Stuffy. If you want a quiet, mellow dog who always minds and never talks back then Stuffy is not for you. She is heavy on the husky in looks but in a smaller, petite package. Stuffy adores other dogs and loves to play with them. She is a bit pushy in play and overwhelming to calm dogs because she doesn’t take no for an answer—because who wouldn’t want to play with her? For a playful dog she is a best friend since she can go on and on running and wrestling. Stuffy adores people and is tolerant of everything. She frequently gets picked up to get put in her kennel and doesn’t even mind “air jail”. Will she tell you her opinions of being locked up…absolutely. Stuffy is not for apartments or shared walls unless your neighbors too would like to hear her opinions shouted. She is housetrained, crates for the workday, and does mind her manners in the house as best as her little mischievous self can—she doesn’t know how the trash can got tipped over or why the barbie doesn’t have feet anymore but definitely probably was not her ;). Stuffy will bring so much love, happy chaos, and fun to any house lucky enough to choose her. Requirements: Training sign up recommended Adoption Fee: $550 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives. Story
Name: Dolphin Breeds: Husky Mix Age: Young Adult Sex: Female Size: ~50 lbs Dolphin is an adorable husky type mix puppy who loves other dogs, loves to play, loves to sing the songs of her people, and loves to be held and loved on. She was an absolute favorite in the shelter and we can see why. Everyone falls in love with her! Dolphin is excellent with other dogs and would love a playmate. Dolphin is working on her housetraining and is used to being crated for the workday but does need a big push to get her in there. She needs a home without shared walls since she earned her name by her high pitched squeal she makes when she is crated or excited. Its adorable if you like husky noises but if you don’t its significantly less so. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $600 + tax.
