Story
Meet Edith: The Sweet Husky Mix Puppy! Edith is an adorable female husky mix puppy with a heart full of love and a spirit that’s both vibrant and curious. She’s crate trained and has quickly adapted to her new home, having only had one accident since arriving—an impressive feat for a young pup! This little sweetheart is a true toy lover and enjoys chewing on bones, making playtime one of her favorite activities. Edith is dog-friendly and has shown she’s great with kids, making her an excellent addition to any family. She’s also met a cat—her initial barking was more out of confusion than anything else, and with time, we believe she’d adjust well to feline companions. Despite her puppy energy, Edith has a surprisingly chill demeanor. While she loves to play, she also enjoys lounging around the house and soaking up the comfort of her surroundings. Unlike many husky mixes, she isn’t overly vocal; she may bark a bit at night in her kennel but has shown no signs of excessive howling or barking. Once she warms up, Edith becomes extremely cuddly and affectionate. She’s still learning to embrace love, but she adores belly rubs and ear scratches, making her moments of affection all the more special. One quirky aspect of her personality is her apprehension around cars; she tends to avoid getting in but is perfectly fine once she’s settled inside. Edith is affectionate, observant, silly, and curious, often following her foster family’s dogs around like a little shadow. She would thrive in a home with another dog who can help guide her as she continues to learn and grow. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving puppy to brighten your life, Edith is ready to bring joy and cuddles into your home! Adopt Edith at: https://tailsofhopewi.org/adoptable-animals-2

Story
Are you the one? Please read my whole bio. Hey there, hoomans of the internet! My name is Pancho, and I would love more than anything to find my forever home. I'm looking for an experienced owner and a specific environment that fits my needs, but I just know that there is someone out there with a heart big enough to take a chance on me! My foster mom says that when I'm with the people I trust, in the safety of my home, I'm gentle, loving, goofy, well-behaved, a great listener, and the biggest snuggle bug. She's a little biased but she says I'm destined to be some lucky person's heart dog. Here's what my ideal home looks like: * Experienced Dog Owner Required: Someone who can read my body language, manage my interactions with other dogs and people, and who understands my quirks and can provide the structure I need. * Selective Dog Companions: I am picky around other dogs and need a family who respects my boundaries. I can get along with some submissive dogs and I love, love, love puppies, but I resource guard around other dogs, and I don't back down from a confrontation, so I need owners who are attentive and responsible when I'm around other pups. * No young children: I require a home without young children. Tweens and teens are okay, as long as they respect my boundaries. * Fenced Yard Required: I am reactive towards other dogs when I'm walking on the leash, and I have that classic husky prey drive. Because of this, it's not always possible for me to get all the exercise I need through walks. I need a home with a fenced yard so that I can run and play and have zoomies to help get my energy out. * No Apartments: due to my reactivity towards other dogs, and distrust of strangers, I am not suited for an apartment. I know that I come with a lot of requirements for my new home, but for the right person, I promise I will be worth it!! Here's a bit more about me: * I've Got Skills! I'm potty trained and know lots of commands, and not just the basic boring ones! I love to learn and mom has taught me to roll-over, spin, weave between her legs, "wait" for a treat that's in front of me, and more! I'm also crate-trained, but you don't need to crate me because I am a perfect gentleman and I can be trusted to free roam while my humans are away. Foster mom leaves me for 8-10 hours three days a week and I never get into trouble! * I'm Active: I love outdoor adventures like hikes, jogs, splashing in the water, and going for car rides. "Car" is my favorite word and I get so excited when I hear it! I'd be a great running partner, and I'm your perfect adventure buddy. I'm still working on my short-leash skills - it's really hard not to pull when the rabbits and squirrels in the neighborhood are taunting me! But I love when mom takes me out on my long line to go exploring and sniffvestigate to my heart's content. * I'm Playful and Goofy! I am the biggest goofball and I love, love, LOVE to play with my stuffies! My favorite toy is my rainbow that has lots of little unicorns living inside. I love to take them out and have mom throw them for me. I don't rip my toys or destroy them, I just love to squeak them, toss them around, and snuggle them when I'm sleepy. I have a silly personality that makes everyone laugh, and I will always make your day brighter with my hilarious antics! * I Love Kitties: I came from a home with many cats and I would love to have a kitty companion in my new home. I have been tested around several cats in my foster home and I've proven that I know how to be gentle and careful around kitties and give them the space they need. I also respect when they tell me to keep my distance with a whack to my face ;) * I Have Guardian Instincts: I take my role as protector seriously, so I'm best suited for someone who values safety and wants a loyal companion. I would be a great companion for a woman who wants to go on solo walks, hikes and/or runs and feel safe while doing so. * I'm Muzzle-trained: My muzzle is a great tool that my foster mom uses to help keep me and any strange dogs or humans I interact with safe. I'm trained to go for long walks with my muzzle on, so mom can take me places where an off-leash dog might run up to me. Mom also uses my muzzle to introduce me to new people, as I get really nervous when strangers reach their hands towards me and sometimes I'm so afraid I'll snap at them. However, once I decide someone is my friend, the muzzle can come off! I warm up to most women right away, and while I'm more distrustful of men, with some extra time and patience I will come to love them too. I thought my foster grandpa was pretty suss when we first met, but now he's one of my favoritest hoomans ever! I am totally trustworthy around people, once I know they're not going to hurt me and decide they can join my snuggle club. To recap, I thrive with a slow introduction to new people and dogs. My ideal family will cherish my loving nature and help me maintain boundaries with strange dogs and humans and respect my need for a calm and structured environment. And of course provide me with lots of stuffies and a lap that is always open for cuddles! If you're an experienced dog owner who's ready for a loyal, goofy, and loving companion, let's meet! My foster mom says she would adopt me in a heartbeat, but then she wouldn't be able to help more dogs like me down the road. She wants you to know that taking a chance on a dog like me and putting the work in to make me feel at home is one of the most fulfilling things a pawrent can do, and if you take that chance it will change both our lives for the better! I've been waiting almost a year for someone to see my potential...are you the one I've been waiting for? Story
Chance is an almost 2-year-old Husky with a vibrant personality and a heart full of love, searching for his forever home. With his striking blue eyes and boundless energy, Chance is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. This friendly pup gets along well with everyone he meets, although he is a bit too playful for small children! He thrives in an active household where he can enjoy outdoor adventures and mental challenges. His intelligence shines through in his eagerness to learn and train, making him a delightful companion for those who can provide him with the exercise and stimulation he needs. If you're looking for a loyal and spirited dog who will bring joy and excitement into your life, Chance is the ideal match. Come meet him and see how he can become the newest and most lovable member of your family! Chance is currently being fostered at Leashes and leads. Staff there think he is perfect. His only issue is being humpy, which we will fix that this week. He will be getting neutered on Oct. 30 and can be adopted after that. ***If you are interested in fostering to adopt this animal, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CCMN/Dog Adoption fee is $300 plus tax.

Story
Mya is a stunningly large pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky mix) with striking blue eyes. She enjoys cuddling on the couch and is confident, playful, and may jump on people, though she does so gently. She has learned to walk on a leash and become potty trained. Mya adores receiving attention from everyone. She's an energetic dog who would thrive with a secure fenced yard for her to play in. While she gets along with other dogs, it's advisable to avoid smaller animals due to her prey instincts. She can also be overly exuberant with smaller dogs. Cats are not recommended. To apply for adoption, visit www.campcompanion.org. The adoption fee is $300 plus tax.

Story
I find myself in a position where I am looking for a new home, through no fault of my own. Sky is my name and I`m a friendly, 2 year old, male Siberian Husky mix. My owner had health problems and wasn`t able to devote the time it takes to care for an active boy like me. She said I do well with cats but am not fond of other canines. I lived with older children and did well with them. If you`re looking for a medium size boy, I weigh just 47 pounds so I might be the one for you! I`m looking for a home where people are around most of the time because I don`t like being alone. And someone who has the energy to keep up with me!
