Welcome Maz to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Maz is a 5 month old pup that is Husky/Staffordshire Terrier. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Maz is the biggest female. She is 3nd biggest in the litter. She is relaxed and one of the least vocal. She is a nice girl and since he is the biggest girl we think he will for sure be 65 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. I love to be the first one to do things like walk through an open door, meet new people, or even see if something is edible! Hee, hee!! I also love to roll around, play with my Nerf soccer ball, and chew on toys. I actually like to eat my toys and am possessive of those I’m playing with so I need to be closely supervised because I will bite if a toy is taken away from me. I get along with other dogs, but I have not met any cats, and kids are not a good fit for me. I am a very friendly boy, but I do tend to nibble people to show affection, get attention, or to warn that I don’t like something. I am a typical Husky who not only loves to pull on the leash and run when off leash, but I’m an escape artist too! It’s true, I’ve broken out of a wire crate and even destroyed items in a room…no walls, doors, floors, or anything but still, I will need a securely fenced yard at my new home. I should also not have any shared walls because when I’m left alone or in the kennel/crate I can holler for a couple hours. I am a smart guy who knows what “sit” & “down” mean, and not only am I potty trained, but I am super good about letting you know I need to go out by grabbing my tail! I am also very gentle when it comes to taking treats although I can be a bit picky about them! Hee, hee!!  I'd love to be your running partner or go on hikes and adventures.  If you don't have a fenced in yard, but do go for daily walks/runs and can commit to my exercise needs while taking me out to potty on leash, let's chat! When I first came up to Underdog, I tested positive for heartworms. We got rid of those pesky bugs and now I just need that heartworm pill monthly, year round! I am a very goofy boy who is simply looking for my fur-ever home with a patient, Husky-savvy family who will love me unconditionally and NEVER give up on me!! Sure, I may take a bit to warm up, but I promise that once I do, I will love you more than you could ever imagine and with proper exercise I am a huge lover who will snuggle like nobody’s business! Chloe is a wonderful and loving dog. She is perfect on a leash and knows basic commands. She gets along with all dogs she has encountered. She will enjoy a home where she can lounge around and be spoiled. She loves to go on walks and spend time with her people. Her adoption fee is $175 which will cover her transport. Chevy is a husky mix and is about 6.5 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Chevy’s a perfect gentleman with excellent manners and he’s a total sweetheart! Meet Fiona! She’s an intelligent husky mix who will thrive in a home with exercise, boundaries and training. I love to play—whether it’s with people, dogs, or chasing after toys, I’m always ready for some action. After I’ve had my fun, I can relax on the floor or on my favorite sheep skin rug (dog beds are growing on me too). Because I can get a little mouthy and jumpy when I’m excited, it would be best if there weren’t little children in my forever home. Older kids are probably the best fit for me. I’m a huge fan of treats—seriously, I’ll do just about anything for one. I know how to "sit," "shake," and I can even "wait" for my food until you tell me to dig in. Chewing bones is another one of my favorite things, and I love playing rough-and-tumble with other dogs that can keep up with my energy. I’d be happiest in a home with another dog that’s around my size and loves to play as much as I do. I’m potty trained, so I only do my business outside. I am improving on my leash walking everyday so don’t need a fenced yard as long as you promise to get outside and help me get some exercise. I do love the freedom of a fenced yard to chase around and get the zoomies. I’m not a huge fan of the crate and will bark for a bit when you leave me in there, but I settle down and keep it clean while you’re away. At night, I don’t need a crate at all—I sleep peacefully on the floor in the bedroom. I have to admit, I’m not good with cats. I’ve got a bit of a prey drive, so I’ll chase them if I get the chance. If you're looking for a fun, energetic pup who loves people, plays hard, and is always up for a good treat, I’m your guy!
