Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi everyone! This is Sylvia! She is looking for a very special family to spend the rest of her time with. Sylvia was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago when she went in for surgery and some tumors were found under her tongue. It is unknown how aggressive the cancer is or how much time she has left. However, she is still full of energy and acts like her normal husky self everyday. She also came in with an injured leg, so she had her right rear leg amputated! Sylvia is a fun and goofy girl. She likes to hop around and play. She likes treats and loves her food. She will howl when she has to go potty. She is a bit unsure of new surroundings and sees her kennel as a comfort zone. She is potty trained and kennel trained and hasn't demonstrated any destructive behaviors when out and about in the house. Sylvia would love to meet you and looks forward to reading through your application with us! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St. Paul, MN Meet Aspyn(formally know as Sammy)! This handsome 2.5-year-old husky mix is full of energy, personality, and potential! He’s naturally social and gets along easily with dogs, cats, and kids in his foster home. He’s also friendly and confident when meeting new dogs. True to his breed mix, he’s an intelligent, high-energy dog who thrives on activity and engagement. He’ll need plenty of exercise, both on and off leash, and would love a person who enjoys adventures as much as he does. While he hasn’t had much structured training in the past, he’s proving to be a quick learner and has responded well to training and routine in his foster home. He would do best with someone who has experience with structured training or is eager to commit to it, as guidance and consistency will help him reach his full potential. With the right leadership, he has the potential to be an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, enthusiastic pup who’s ready to grow with you, he could be the perfect match! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Andover, MN Sesi is an absolute sweetheart who has adapted very well to her foster home with two elementary-aged children and two other huskies. Her tail is always wagging and she wants to be near her people and dog friends at all times. She loves her big fluffy bed, snuggling on the couch, laying outside in the sun and hanging out in the office all day while her foster mom works. She is potty trained and does pretty well on a leash but we will keep working on that now that the weather is warming up! We are also working on "sit", she is very smart, and food motivated! Sesi would do best in a forever home with at least one other friendly dog, she really seems to like her pack. She does not like her crate or being put in a separate room, it will be very important she goes to a home where she has access to most spaces. We have not had any issues with her roaming in common spaces while we are gone. If you are looking for an easygoing, loyal dog with a ton of love to give, Sesi is your girl! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Monticello, MN Hi; I'm Flora. Even though I had a really rough start the first few months of my life, I am the worlds biggest sweetheart. I love to sneak kisses and snuggle up. I'd much rather be stuck to your hip than play with toys. Since I had parvo then kicked its butt, I am used to being quarantined/kept in a pen for potty breaks but that's just has enhanced my princess personality (& I'm catching on to potty training so fast!). I promise I'll make a great addition to your family and love you forever. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Age: Approximately 4 years old Weight: 55lbs Dog friendly: Yes but best with medium/large dogs Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes - older teens only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes *FENCE REQUIRED* Hello and thank you for checking me out. My name is Waichiwi. I love to hang out in the sun in my backyard. I am kennel trained and currently live in a household with a 7 year old labrador, two human teenagers and my foster parents. I love chasing after squirrels and rabbits in my backyard. I also love lounging in the sun. I am excited to meet new people – and have a habit of bopping you in the nose when I meet you. I love humans, walking with them, playing outside with them, taking trips to norther Minnesota – where I can be on a tie out and explore new places. I struggle to get to know new dogs. I need time to become used to them either in pack walks or slow introductions where we get to sniff each other – not nose to nose. I am getting back into brewery tours and enjoy hanging out there with my humans and meeting new humans. I am working hard on getting to calmy meet new dogs in that environment. If you are looking for a dog to live in your fenced yard home – I’m your dog. If you have another dog in your home -we will want to meet each other a few times and make sure we get along. Waichiwi is looking for a home that will provide her with the time and patience needed to help her build confidence with other dogs. Come meet her today and get ready to fall head over heels with her! Adoption Fee: $325

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     *NEW FOSTER HOME NEEDED by MAY 1st - CURRENT FOSTER HAVING SURGERY!*   Rex is an almost 2 yo, 50lb Shepsky mix who is your definition of fun and floppy! Rex came to MN in Feb 2025 and has gotten to experience his first big snow with Minnesota scenery! Rex was originally picked up a stray, and kept in a foster home, but mostly stayed outside in his pen weather permitting. He is still working on marking, house training, and pulling on a leash. Rex is such an eager to please dog, he will do anything for a tasty treat and being told he is the best boy, (because he IS!) Rex has already learned sit, down, touch, and wait, in just 2 months in foster care! Rex   takes nice long afternoon naps, and sleeps great in his crate overnight.    Rex would do best in a home that has space to play inside and outside, an adult dog friend, and a human friend who can keep up with his Husky shenanigans, and who can keep working with his basic training.  Rex does show some prey drive, but we think it's closer to a game than a hunt, so lots of toys are going to be his favorite! Rex is currently fostered with a young pup, and does well with them, but would benefit from the companionship of an older dog to help teach him.   Rex is still a teenager, so he is exploring the world with his mouth, as adolescent dogs do. He's learning his boundaries, and picking up on social cues. Rex would thrive with some mental stimulation and plenty of exercise!  Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here  If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Adoption fee for Rex is $525 + MN tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue   All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 7, 2025, 11:08 pm

The world feels big and a bit scary to me. I prefer quiet corners, where I can watch everything from a safe distance.
