MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED DECEMBER 5 - 8 AS PART OF THE `HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS` ADOPTION EVENT !!! No need to `curb your enthusiasm,` it`s Larry David... the dog! This big guy is quite the looker. While he may dazzle you with his beautiful white fur and sparkling blue eyes, he`s also a sweetheart! He enjoys going on walks and getting goofy with his friends! While he can be slow to warm up to new folks, your time and patience will pay off with this pup! Larry David is looking for an adopter that can handle his big personality... and even bigger size! If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyre interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Diva1 year oldSpayed FemaleIntroducing Diva! This girl’s personality is as striking as her beautiful coat, and she can’t wait to meet you! Diva is still an angsty teenager with plenty of energy and attitude. She`s still learning how to navigate the world with her feet on the ground, but she promises to keep you smiling with her silly, outgoing personality. Diva may be successful with another rowdy playmate, or with a more mature dog who can help show her the ropes. Story
MEET LOTTO!Lotto is a 10-month-old Husky with a heart full of energy and love! This handsome boy is as playful as he is friendly, and loves spending time with people. As a teenage pup, Lotto is still learning how to play with new doggie friends. He has a loud and rowdy play style, which may not be every dogs cup of tea. Lotto would thrive in a home where he`s given plenty of excercise, mental stimulation, and affection. Since he is an exuberant boy, we want Lotto`s adopter to be dedicated to furthering his training through positive reinforcement. Like most Huskies, Lotto can be quite vocal and would do best in a stand-alone housing arangment, opposed to apartment living. If you`re looking for a fun, energetic, and loving dog to join your family, Lotto could be your perfect match. He`s ready to bring joy and excitement into your life--are you ready to give him the home he deserves?Lotto is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Lotto or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. **MEET ME AT OUR 2/2 ADOPTION EVENT IN MARBLEHEAD!**Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Yes, older kidsCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesWell, well, well – I see you have stumbled upon my profile. Hello! My name is Teddy (although my foster mom keeps calling me the Floofiest Floofball in all of Floofland so maybe that’s my name?) I am 7 years old and I cannot wait to find my forever family!I am a husky and I have been told I have the prettiest smile and softest fur. My foster mom keeps asking to hear my beautiful husky singing, but I’ve been too shy to show her my skills so far. Eating is my favorite activity (though the vet says I need to cut back on the snacking, oops). Once I trust my humans, I will stick to them like glue. I am more than happy to lay around on my bed all day, but the second you get up I want to be where the people are and will follow you wherever you are going.I love going on walks and I have been told I have spectacular leash skills. New people make me nervous, so I do best when meeting them in neutral spaces where I can decide to approach them on my own terms. But once we are friends, we are friends for life (especially if you give me treats). I thrive best in an environment that provides structure and reinforces boundaries. I like it when the humans in my life show me that they are in charge because it makes me feel taken care of and I know I don’t have to worry about anything because they will advocate for me out in the world.I am fully house trained and crate trained, although sometimes I like to hit you with the sad eye smolder so you give me a little treat for going in my crate. I already know basic commands like sit and stay. I’m a really smart boy and can’t wait to learn more with you! I am hoping to find a single-family home with a confident adopter who has experience owning dogs. Okay I think that’s it for now. Like, follow, and subscribe for more. Or just write an email to our Adoptions team! They can help you get connected with my agent to set up time for a meeting. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.January 27, 2025, 11:01 am

**MEET ME AT OUR 2/2 ADOPTION EVENT IN MARBLEHEAD!**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Unknown, likely yesCrate trained: YesHouse trained: YesNorii is one pretty pup with virtually an all-white coat and a truly unique singular black ear marking. In true husky fashion, she loves the great outdoors and has been known to drag a blanket outside for a cozy snooze. Nori thrives on playing with interactive toys and would benefit from living in a home that can keep her busy. She loves to romp with other dogs and the siestas that follow. She lived with several while in foster care and did great with them all.Norii has not had any exposure to kids, but her sweet and playful nature suggests she would be a great fit for a family with older, dog-savvy kids. Due to her sporadic bursts of energy a home with smaller kiddos might not be ideal. She’s seen cats and has had zero reaction so cohabitation would most likely not be an issue.Norii is house-trained and crate-trained. She sleeps in her crate and happily hangs out in there during the day when her foster family is out. Leash training could use some extra attention as she does pull occasionally. But have no fear, she’s a smart cookie and extremely food motivated so closing the gap on any training should be fun and quick.Norii is the perfect mix of feisty, fun, and chill and can’t wait to find her forever home! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Jake is a very sweet, high energy, and loving 6 year old boy who will drop everything he’s doing for a good dose of scritches. A particular fan of the snow, you can find him shoving his face in snowbanks and hopping up and down on them. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body though he is very high energy when he plays which can be a little unsettling around smaller breeds. He has always been kind to our cats and just wants to play with them, though they don’t return the same interest. He enjoys running outside on our run at high speed and we would love to find a home that’s able to provide him the exercise opportunities and attention we’re not able to provide him anymore.
