Meet Marshmellow, a fun-loving, rowdy pup with the biggest heart! Marshmellow is young and eager to find a family! Marshmellow could be the perfect fit! He is athletic, handsome, and very trainy, what more could you want?! He recently got back to the shelter after spending time in a foster home where we were able to learn a lot about him! He is SO curious and loves to be with his person, watching everything they do! He really enjoyed settling with a kong, this boy loves his food and can be kept entertained with puzzles for hours. We also learned he is housebroken, he worked on building skills for crate training but was able to settle himself well when left alone, and loved meeting people of all ages. Marshmellow is a smart pup who in his foster home and at the shelter, enjoys training while out on walks and is hoping to find an adopter willing to continue working with him. Marshmellow is ready to find his home that is ready to give him the attention he craves! If you`re ready for a fun-loving, loyal, and intelligent friend who will keep you active and entertained, Marshmellow is the perfect match!

Iris is a beautiful husky who is energetic and playful. And did I mentionbeautiful? She is rather mellow for a husky, if that is not acontradiction. She likes her toys, zoomies in the pen and going on sniffywalks. Our good girl Iris is not always comfortable with close handling.She is hoping for an adopter who can watch her body language and help herwith what she needs. Once you start watching her, she makes it very clearwhen she wants to be touched and when she is uncomfortable. Iris hassuccessfully lived with dogs before. However, her play style can be a bitforward so her canine companions will need to be well matched. We do notknow how she feels about cats. And children who are old enough tounderstand petting consent should work. Huskies can be quirky,challenging, funny and loving. And always athletic and adventurous.Adding Iris to your family may be a little work at first. She is worthit. Come meet Iris at the MSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundaysfrom 12PM to 4:30PM.

 Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. Cubby is our handsome Husky mix boy that is just beginning to peel away his original reluctance to trust people and now he is just all about having fun and playing with all the humans in his foster community.  He is a loving 2 year old boy who grew up in a pack of other Huskies and also many puppies all around in the backyard.  Cubby was never taken out in a car or away from that dirty backyard filled with many items of trash.  So. Cubby learned nothing about life and certainly nothing about being on a leash to go for walks. In fact he never had a collar or a leash on him. One month later, he is blossoming so much and every day we see such progress in his confidence. Now, with his foster family he loves to go on walks and is beginning to like and meet new people that he meets.   He has gained so much trust and confidence. What is so sweet is that this boy now knows how to play as he tosses his toys in the air and chases bouncy balls.  He has the normal Husky energy and that includes a need to run in a fenced area and most certainly he cannot be confined to a crate for 8-9 hours because it is just not in his nature to be comfortable with that.  When he is inside a home he can be chill and relaxed with his humans and of course he is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play with them.  He will be fun and your amazing companion and will be  someone’s faithful buddy. Cubby is beautiful inside and out.
