Story
Crunch is a beautiful three-year-old female Husky who was transferred to us from Athol Animal Control. She takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, but she loves being patted and cuddled once she is comfortable. She is very gentle, affectionate and playful. She loves to go for hikes and is very good on a leash. She also enjoys playing with other dogs and might like having a canine companion. Since Crunch is a Husky, she will need an adopter willing to provide her with a lot of exercise. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted so we are accepting applications now.  If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our adoption fee for dogs ages 7 months to 7 years is $450. Dogs 8 years and up are $250. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both. All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.

MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED DECEMBER 5 - 8 AS PART OF THE `HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS` ADOPTION EVENT !!! No need to `curb your enthusiasm,` it`s Larry David... the dog! This big guy is quite the looker. While he may dazzle you with his beautiful white fur and sparkling blue eyes, he`s also a sweetheart! He enjoys going on walks and getting goofy with his friends! While he can be slow to warm up to new folks, your time and patience will pay off with this pup! Larry David is looking for an adopter that can handle his big personality... and even bigger size! If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyre interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Diva1 year oldSpayed FemaleIntroducing Diva! This girl’s personality is as striking as her beautiful coat, and she can’t wait to meet you! Diva is still an angsty teenager with plenty of energy and attitude. She`s still learning how to navigate the world with her feet on the ground, but she promises to keep you smiling with her silly, outgoing personality. Diva may be successful with another rowdy playmate, or with a more mature dog who can help show her the ropes. Story
MEET CHLOE!Chloe is a 4-year-old Husky with a heart full of love! This gorgeous girl is as playful as she is friendly, and loves spending time with people and other dogs. Like most Huskies, Chloe would thrive in a home where she can play and have fun but also have some down time when you are trying to chill on the couch. Most Huskies love to use their voices to communicate and Chloe is no different. She can be quite vocal so keep that in mind if you live in an apartment type sitiuation. Chloe is ready to bring joy and excitement into your life--are you ready to give her the home she deserves? Please note: Chloe is known to bother cats and would do best in a home without any felines.Chloe is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Chloe or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
