Story
Guppie is well socialized; is friendly but not over exuberant when meeting people, dogs, and cyclists while hiking. Because of his breeds he needs a very active home that can provide at least an hour a day of running, hiking, biking, or swimming. If he doesn't get enough exercise he will be destructive in the home. Guppie is a working/sport dog that would thrive if given a job to do and a person to do it with. He would excel in sports like canicross, bikejoring, dock diving, or nose work; anything that allows him to run or swim and work together with his human.

Story
This kid is about four years old and relies on other dogs to help show him the way. He is a lovebug once he accepts you as his. He lives with two other medium to large dogs and has learned to take cues from them when he is a bit rambunctious. He knows many helpful things like sit, stay, wait, leave it, with me and lay; though he still needs reminders sometimes. He even knows how to catch treatos flying his way! Kavik is looking for someone to continue to help him be brave and accept that there are some things that are a no fly zone without buckets of trust. We take him to All Dogs for baths and nails as they are not his favorite thing. He does great with kennel up at night and while we are gone; I wouldn't suggest free roaming as he might get bored and find something to get in trouble with. He has shown no tendencies to jump fence and run and has a 5' chain at the house. So, while he can jump like a kangaroo, he is content to stay home. He lived with a cat for awhile, but it was her time to cross the rainbow bridge, so he could use a bit more cat testing. He hasn't shown any guarding tendencies with food or toys other than he likes to steal his sisters toys/bones so she can steal them right back.

Story
Hazel is looking for a forever home. She is dog and kid friendly, sweet and sassy ball of energy. She LOVES to play and run. Zoomies are her favorite pastime, her play style is rough and tumble, and she enjoys destuffing all of her toys. Even with her higher energy level, Hazel is great about reading the room and will settle down when everyone else has so she can chill on the couch with you. Hazel would do best in a home with another submissive dog due to her dominant personality, but she has gotten along great with other dogs as long as her boundaries are respected and she’s properly introduced. She’s kennel and potty trained, walks pretty well on a leash with some pulling here and there, and loves her people. Hazel starts out a little cautious of men, but warms up quickly! She will need a home that will ensure they can keep her safe. She has managed to get out of the yard by climbing the fence so she will require a 6 foot fence at minimum.

Story
If you are wanting to shop for my Christmas pajamas, you will need to look in the Big and Tall department! I am a handsome, very strong boy and yes, I am both big and tall. I love to walk on a leash, but I will need someone strong themselves to help me learn my manners as I just want to go go go, and no one has taught me much yet. My friends here at KCHS are trying, and I am starting to get the idea, but I am a big powerful boy so it is going to take some learnin’. With my striking blue eyes and beautiful yellow coat, it is likely that I will be sought after as the cover model for Hoof and Hound magazine when I wear my new PJs out and about. Get your app in to meet me today, before I am whisked off to Milan for Fashion Week runway gigs. ❤️ 🎄 🧑‍🎄

Meet Maisy, a seasoned lady with a heart full of love. She's independent, preferring to explore her surroundings at her own pace, yet always appreciative of a kind hand or a gentle word. Maisy is wonderful, her sweet demeanor is a calming presence in any home. She walks great on a leash, her feet are the cutest fuzzy white and look like rabbits feet when she walks. Maisy also loves car rides, her eyes lighting up at the mere jingle of car keys. Despite her senior status, Maisy has an enduring spirit and a zest for life that's infectious. She's not just a pet, she's a friend, a companion, and a source of unconditional love. Adopt Maisy and let her fill your home with her gentle, sweet spirit.

Story
This handsome ginger guy is Jupiter! He is a beloved boarding dog and would love a home outside of the Wichita city limits! Jupiter is very well trained and loves to show off his tricks! He sits beautifully and when asked to shake will shake the heck out of ya. He loves to walk, does well on leash and has the cutest little grunts on his walks. Jupiter needs time to warm up to some strangers, especially men, but once he does he's your next BFF! He's a very goofy, happy and smart boy who needs a strong leader in the home. This guy loves butt scritches, rubs on you like a cat and will give you licks of affection. Jupiter struggles with anxiety including storms and fireworks but he's kennel trained like a pro and just wants a comfy place to call home! This boy needs to be the only pet in the home where he can demand and receive ALL of the attention he deserves. Due to his PDD determination Jupiter will need an adopter or foster outside the city limits of Wichita.
