Story
AdoptionGator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans, but does not do well with the unpredictability of little kiddos though, so only kids over 6 please. He has done well with the dogs in his foster home with a slower intro. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. February 21, 2025, 12:50 pm

Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She has a little stranger danger and probably needs a no cat, and no chicken home. She would be great as an only dog too. She can get skittish with people standing, walking toward her, certain arm placements at first as well. She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person. She loves leash walks and car rides but doesn't like going into places. "Peopling" is low on the enjoyment list. As soon as we go on our walks she's so peaceful and happy.    Apply to meet Zena at www.k911foundation.com/adoptDecember 12, 2024, 8:44 pm

Story
We have a young goofy gentleman of 5 years old, named Max. He loves to play with other dogs, especially in the snow! Big cuddle bug and will greet you every time you come home. Loves rawhide bones too! He is potty train and is trainable, but he's also a goofy doofus too. So you'll have to repeat yourself, but he's highly treat driven! We love Max and would like to keep his goofy butt, but unfortunately when we got him we were uninformed of his seizures from the adoption center. We have a little one who doesn't understand and can not handle seeing him mid-seizure. Max is on seizure medication twice a day, stuff it in peanut butter or wet food and he'll eat it like a champ without picking the medication out. Young man, currently has two types of medication to raise his threshold tolerance to seizures. If you are interested in little man, please let me know and I can will fully explain his medical situation recommended by the doctor. Please let us know if you have further questions!

Story
Kona is a sweet girl, and will turn two in May. She has lived with us since she was rescued at 12 weeks old, and we love her so much. She is excellent with children, she still has some puppy energy and can be very playful or very snuggly She loves playing with other dogs and does great at doggy daycare. She knows a few basic commands, and is very well crate trained. When not being closely watched Kona has a tendency to eat whatever she can find (socks, scrunchies, gloves). This means she needs to be safely in her crate while we are gone during the day, run kids around in the evening and when we sleep at night. She deserves a family that spends more time at home so she doesn’t have to spend as much time in her crate. She is such a sweet girl!

Story
Baxter is my late brother's dog. My brother was a construction worker & former Strong Man. He loved his dogs very much but played rough with them. He's lived with a second dog, with my late brother for about 8 years, but the two are not pals. Baxter is part husky/ lab/ pit-bull. He's not loud & doesn't howl. He likes to growl at other dogs but **absolutely loves** people. If you are the last in the room, you are now Baxter's best friend. He loves being rubbed and scratched. Good for PTSD cuddling. Very protective. He's good about listening to commands & will ease up when told. He's strong & pulled me over but will be considerate with my mom, who has mobility issues. He usually stays in the back yard if instructed & unchained. Loves to dig holes. Has a prey instinct & digs for dangerous tree roots.

Story
Chopper is a year old husky lab mix, born in November of 2023. He is brown and tan with light golden eyes. He is extremely friendly and goofy, gets along well with everyone and everything he meets, he has grown up around children of all ages as well as cats and other dogs. Everyone who meets him says he is the nicest sweetest dog and ask if they can keep him. He loves to snuggle and lounge but also loves to run around, play fetch and go for walks. He is very high energy and definitely needs an active person/family. He is up to date on shots but is not fixed. He is also microchipped, I am sure I can change his info to whoever adopts him. He will come with his collar and kennel if wanted.
