Story
We have a young goofy gentleman of 5 years old, named Max. He loves to play with other dogs, especially in the snow! Big cuddle bug and will greet you every time you come home. Loves rawhide bones too! He is potty train and is trainable, but he's also a goofy doofus too. So you'll have to repeat yourself, but he's highly treat driven! We love Max and would like to keep his goofy butt, but unfortunately when we got him we were uninformed of his seizures from the adoption center. We have a little one who doesn't understand and can not handle seeing him mid-seizure. Max is on seizure medication twice a day, stuff it in peanut butter or wet food and he'll eat it like a champ without picking the medication out. Young man, currently has two types of medication to raise his threshold tolerance to seizures. If you are interested in little man, please let me know and I can will fully explain his medical situation recommended by the doctor. Please let us know if you have further questions!

Story
Kona is a sweet girl, and will turn two in May. She has lived with us since she was rescued at 12 weeks old, and we love her so much. She is excellent with children, she still has some puppy energy and can be very playful or very snuggly She loves playing with other dogs and does great at doggy daycare. She knows a few basic commands, and is very well crate trained. When not being closely watched Kona has a tendency to eat whatever she can find (socks, scrunchies, gloves). This means she needs to be safely in her crate while we are gone during the day, run kids around in the evening and when we sleep at night. She deserves a family that spends more time at home so she doesn’t have to spend as much time in her crate. She is such a sweet girl!

Story
Hi there, I am currently in job transitioning that will require extensive traveling, and sadly need to re-home this sweet girl. She is just barely a year old. Nikki is extremely well behaved, very intelligent, curious about all things, and just a great all around loving doggo. She would be an excellent family addition. She is potty trained, kennel trained, has all her shots up to date, and still has an active wellness plan through Banfield Pet Hospital. She has also already been spayed and micro-chipped. I am looking for a great home for Nikki. She will come with a matching Kong collar and leash set, two kennels, remaining food/food storage container, and her toys.

Story
Duke is a one year old Husky/Border Collie mix who is agile and energetic. This boy is potty and crate trained. Duke's foster has been working with Duke teaching him all the things. Duke enjoys the company of other dogs and is a bit too curious about cats. Duke will require an adopter that enjoys long walks and will be creative in enrichment activities for this smart boy. All Heart of America dogs are altered, micro chipped and will have age-appropriate vaccines. The adoption fee for all of our dogs/puppies is $225. Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She has a little stranger danger and probably needs a no cat, and no chicken home. She would be great as an only dog too. She can get skittish with people standing, walking toward her, certain arm placements at first as well. She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person. She loves leash walks and car rides but doesn't like going into places. "Peopling" is low on the enjoyment list. As soon as we go on our walks she's so peaceful and happy.    Apply to meet Zena at www.k911foundation.com/adoptDecember 12, 2024, 8:44 pm

Story
AdoptionGator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans, but does not do well with the unpredictability of little kiddos though, so only kids over 6 please. He has done well with the dogs in his foster home with a slower intro. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. February 21, 2025, 12:50 pm

Story
Meet Charlie!. He is a very sweet, loving, and playful Husky/Lab Mix. He will be 2 in August, so past the puppy stage but still very young and playful. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and 100% potty trained. He is about 65 pounds. My husband and I inherited him from a family member last year, and although we love him and wish we could keep him, our current space, and budget as well as the fact we are currently expecting our first child don’t allow us to give him the best life possible, so we are making the difficult decision to rehome him to someone who can give him the life he deserves. He is good with cats (we also have a cat ) , other dogs (he frequently plays with our neighbor’s dogs), and we think he would do great with older kids. He is high energy, but also a huge cuddle bug.
