Story
Hi Im Cruz! Im handsome gentleman who wants to be friends with everyone! I came to the shelter when my previous owner passed away but a very nice caretaker brought me to GPSPCA to find my new home! I have enjoyed meeting the staff here and love singing my soft song to people (Arrrooooo!). I walk very well on the leash and would love to get out&#44 explore the world&#44 and go on adventures. I like toys and know the sit command. I could be friends with other dogs too and would love to meet them ahead of time. As an added bonus&#44 I am fuzzy enough to snuggle up and keep you warm on a chilly day. Stop in and meet me today!

Story
El Lobo was adopted in May 2022 from Lawrence Humane Society. He was a few months old at the time. He does not like kennels but he loves off leash parks and will constantly make sure you're keeping up with him. He is a great big brother to his little shepsky sister and feels great responsibility to make sure she is behaving well. He is supremely friendly and is not afraid to make new friends. No type or number will stop him from saying hello. He enjoys being able to go outside at will in order to run and be chased. If he feels like his little sister is about to escape, he will ask for help. If she gets out, he will go after her and make sure she's fine. Lobo wants time from his humans more than any food or toy. He is persistent in getting your attention and will happily do what you want him to.

Story
Meet Cersei! 6–7 Month Old • Siberian Husky • Gorgeous Blue Eyes • Nearly Perfect Pup 💙 Miss Cersei was found wandering the streets all alone, and to make things tougher, someone had shaved her — so her beautiful Husky coat is still growing back in. She’s now safe in a foster home and learning how to “Husky” from four resident Siberian Huskies who are showing her the ropes — what’s okay, what’s not, and how to just be a happy, confident pup. This girl has been amazing in the home: 🌟 Zero accidents in the house or in her kennel 🌟 No chewing or getting into things she shouldn’t 🌟 Smart as can be — already knows “sit” and “kisses” 🌟 Sleeps through the night in her kennel (with maybe a quick howl before settling back down) 🌟 Also loves sleeping in bed if that’s allowed in her future home As a typical Siberian Husky, Cersei is a high-energy working breed who thrives with both physical and mental stimulation. She’ll need an adopter ready for daily exercise, engagement, and enrichment. Since Huskies are known escape artists, a secure 6-ft fenced yard is highly recommended. Her ideal home: • Someone familiar with the Husky breed or willing to do the research • An active family who enjoys outdoor adventures • A home with another playful dog would be a huge bonus — she loves having canine friends • Someone who appreciates a snuggly, sweet, silly puppy who just wants to be part of the pack Cersei is pretty darn close to perfect. She’s loving, funny, people-oriented, great with other dogs, and she has that classic Husky sparkle. If you’re ready for a sweetheart with energy, brains, and endless cuddles… Cersei might just be your girl. 💙🐾 ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Story
Lee • Siberian Husky • 4.5 Years Old • ~65 lbs Lee is a striking red-and-white, blue-eyed Siberian Husky with a big personality and an adventurous spirit. After a rough start in a multi-dog home, he’s learning what family life looks like and is thriving with structure and consistency. Lee is affectionate, gently goofy, and very people-oriented. He loves being close to his humans and will happily keep you entertained. He is housebroken, though occasional accidents may happen as he continues to adjust after long periods of indoor confinement earlier in life. This athletic boy has lots of energy and loves walks, running, and exploration. He is very strong, so he needs a handler who can manage his strength. Lee does well with respectful children (best with kids 10+) and other dogs, but no cats due to a strong prey drive. Lee knows sit, down, wait, and paw and continues to work on leash manners. He loves toys (especially squeaky ones), duck jerky treats, and even shelled peanuts. As a true Husky, Lee is intelligent, vocal, and an escape artist. He has cleared 5–6 ft fences and requires a secure yard with a tall, solid fence. When left alone, he needs a puppy-proofed home and a heavy-duty crate, as he can counter-surf and escape standard crates. He’s improving and learning that his people always come back. Lee will thrive with an active person or family experienced with Huskies. He is not suited for an elderly household. In the right home, Lee will be a loyal, fun, and loving companion. ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Story
Bmo is 3 years old, birthday is August 31st, I adopted him from a coworker I used to work with who had a litter of puppies but now I’m looking for someone who has more time on their hands, because unfortunately I do not:( I’m also looking for someone who has a yard with a tall fence because he enjoys jumping our fence when we arent looking but other than that he is perfect to me & he rarely sheds but need brushing frequently.

Story
Hello! Aiko was given to me when she was three months old (she’s two now). I’m looking for a playful, and loving home. She’s great with kids because she was raised with one. I just want her to be loved. My schedule is too busy now for her to be home with me and I can no longer afford to take care of her .
