Noble and gentle is the meaning of my name. Of course I am noble, I am part Husky. We may act silly at times, but we are a very noble breed. I would love to be addressed as “your highness or your majesty.” My breed loves to run and play. I would love to find a family that likes to go for walks, play in the park, and hike forest trails. I hope you like affection because getting close for deep scratches and hugs is a necessity. I cannot help myself; I love being with people. Please contact the shelter for an appointment to meet me!

Story
I am named after an Avatar, a water bending avatar. Healing injuries and wounds is a skill of a water bender. Are you lonely or missing a loved one? I can help. Let me fill that empty spot in your heart. Let me make you feel whole again. Talk to me, cry on my shoulder, hug me. I am here to help you with whatever burdens you. Love me and I will return love to you, unconditionally. They say dogs are angels in disguise. Maybe. But I guarantee I be your guardian if you decide to take me home. I cannot wait to meet you, please call soon!

Story
Meet Kiki! She’s an adorable, loving, cuddly, highly energetic and extremely playful 9 month old husky with 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye. She does really well on walks and although she doesn’t really pull, she does like to stop and sniff the roses. She's kennel trained and potty trained, but does have the occasional accident. Kiki is great with other dogs and loves to wrestle, but is still learning the boundaries of playing too rough. She also may growl at other dogs but doesn’t attack. She is food aggressive, but only with other dogs, not humans; she should be fed in a kennel separately. She would benefit from a home with another, older dog, as she will take their lead on behavior issues and on walks, but a home with no little dogs would be best. She is cat friendly. Kiki is in the puppy stage where everything goes into her mouth and she's still learning manners. She will need a patient and experienced human to help her learn to be her best self. She will need a house with a fenced yard and won't do well in an apartment. When play time is over she loves to cuddle her humans! For a husky she is not super vocal, but will let you know when she wants more attention. She is super loving and sweet, but also a bit mischievous, however she will stop when you call her out on it. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our application here: http://www.rchsks.org/our-animals/adopt-a-pet/adopting-a-dog. By filling out the application you are not committing yourself to adopting; it's a screening process that must be completed before you meet the dog. Please do this BEFORE calling. Our voicemail is only checked periodically and you can reach us much faster via dog-coordinators@rchsks.org. Thank you!
