Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I am an energetic working boy who is looking for a home to call my own! I am around 6 years old and know all of my basic commands including, sit, lay down, and off. I would love to find a family with another dog and a fenced in yard. Please no children because I am still working on my manners, including how to greet young people and strangers appropriately. I am looking for an experienced dog owner, someone who is a strong handler and is looking for a lifelong companion that is smart and will be their #1 sidekick. I cannot wait to find my forever home!   Broly's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives PLUS an obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a home visit and a vet check.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 6:20 pm

Story
Max is an energetic fun loving puppy. He is around 9 months. He's great with our 5 dogs and inside and outside cats. He's been around goats and donkeys too. He should be fed separate from other animals unless you heavily work with him, and have knowledge of working with dogs with food aggression. He needs exercise and loves to run and play fetch. He sits on command and comes by calling his name. He kennels as well. Especially when you have a little kibble in your hand. He loves to be loved on. I am fostering for my daughters boyfriend who is his original owner. We have 5 other dogs Max is with every day. Reach out if you have any questions.

Story
Girly-girl! The sweetest little girl, and as cheery as they get! Girly doesn't have a care in the world- like ever. She's got a happy-go-lucky temperament that is suitable for just about ANY home! She is a lover of all things, cats, dogs, people, kids, critters- she's just elated to meet, love on, or getting loving from anything! But her loving definitely comes with a hint of playtime! Whether it's tug, chasing down a ball, squeaking a stuffie, she LOVES it! Not too long into her playtime she winds down into a deep puppy nap. Girly is the perfect character in her wonderful stage of puppyhood, and we reckon she will be JUST as perfect into adulthood- as she will likely be that perfect in between size for a canine companion at her measly 30 pounds at about 10 months old. The size that you can take anywhere, everywhere, or nowhere at all on those cozy nights in- she will definitely not mind if you give her a bone, or even a stick! & she's truly one happy camper! Girly got to spend quite a lot of time in foster before coming to us, so she has her basic puppy skills down, too!

Story
Do you like adorable doggies that want no more than your love, attention, cuddles, and playtime? Let alone with such intense, and gorgeous big bi-colored eyes? We do too! Meet Honda, the handsomest boy that thrives with people, kids, dogs, just about everyone and everything; he's seen it all. He is beyond a lovable medium-sized guy, who will push his head into you anytime you stop giving him loves and attention. Another one of his favorite things to do? Roll around on the futon like it's nobody's business! IT is SO adorable. Honda is about 2 years old, about 50 pounds, and packed full of plenty of everything sweet to give. While he is more reserved at first with strangers so far, he warms up wonderfully with the use of a couple treats, and gentle voices. We are pretty sure Honda just isn't too sure how to be as outgoing as he wants to be so far. But, when it's slow, he surely doesn't mind, and he nicely rests at our feet, or on his doggy bed, just content being around. He is truly one of the most adorable pooches we've ever seen; with such a bright, and welcoming personality. Honda is crate-trained, seemingly house-broken, knows his basic commands! We love all of his goofball expressions, clumsy zoomies, and motivation for just about anything! Whether it's for a treat, a toy, or even just a 'good boy', he is SURE to be the goodest boy!
