Meet Frankie – the total puppy package! If you’ve ever dreamed of a puppy with movie star looks and a heart of gold, Frankie is your guy! With piercing blue eyes and a face that’s always giving us his best “Blue Steel” (yes, the Ben Stiller Zoolander pose!), this 3-month-old cutie is ready to steal hearts and cuddle his way into your home. Frankie is approximately 12 weeks old and weighs around 12 pounds. He’s already impressing us with his crate-training and house-training skills, and he sleeps through the night like a champ. He currently lives in a foster home with children and absolutely adores them. While he’s not living with other dogs at the moment, he lights up when he gets a chance to play with doggy friends and would love a canine companion in his forever home. More than anything, Frankie is a certified cuddle-bug. His favorite place in the world? Your lap. The ideal family for this sweet boy will be one that’s ready for snuggles, playtime, and lots of love. Frankie is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventions, and all set to meet his forever family. We are a gorgeous litter of Aussie Huskies. Independent, intelligent, and affectionate, we are an Australian Shepherd/Husky Mix. We are lively, social and bright. We will be medium to large size and we have already shown that we are quick to pick up commands and eager to please. We were abandoned and left to fend for ourselves. Thank the Lord for the nice people that came to our rescue and are fostering us now. Won't you take a look? I think you'll like what you see and want to take one of us home with you! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets!
