Story
Hi all! I came to the shelter with a buddy, we used to play together before he got adopted and would do well with another dog. Additionally, I am happy to meet new people and I can get jumpy at times, but am usually pretty gentle. I like running and checking out everyone and everything here at the shelter, you could call me curious. I just want to see everything and find where they hide the treats, I haven't found them yet but I'll keep looking. I can get very food motivated to the point I lose focus on people and will do anything to get into the food here at the shelter, I will sit even before being asked in hopes of getting a treat. I would probably do very well in a home with another dog to show me how to behave and children over 6 years old. I have met some kids at the shelter and they get showered with kisses, I love everyone I have met here at the shelter. And since I like people I get to go on outings in the community, you may have even seen me at Harvest Fest last year. I graduated from basic obedience training on January 14th with Simba, we did really well. I do need to work on "stay" but will cooperate with "sit" and "leave it" commands.
