Story
Chevy is a husky mix and is about 6.5 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Chevy’s a perfect gentleman with excellent manners and he’s a total sweetheart! He loves people and other dogs and knows basic commands such as sit, down and wait. He is also kennel-trained. Chevy loves to be affectionate, but also respects your space and doesn’t jump on people. He absolutely loves some belly rubs and playing with stuffed toys.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.February 6, 2025, 10:16 pm

Story
Meet Bentley!Bentley is a lively 1.5-year-old, 35-pound pup with an uncontainable zest for life! This sweet, playful guy absolutely loves running around and making new friends, both human and canine. He’s full of affection and thinks everyone he meets is simply the best.Bentley has spent most of his life in an apartment, which couldn’t quite keep up with his high energy. Now, he’s ready for a family that can match his adventurous spirit! He’d thrive with a bit more room to play and about 5 extra pounds to reach his ideal weight. If you’re looking for a happy, loving companion for outdoor adventures and endless fun, Bentley could be the perfect match!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
