Story
- Can be a little shy at first, but warms up when given time and space- Does well on a leash - Will do best with a fenced yard or being on a leash when outdoors to keep her safe and secure - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended) - May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; can also be a bit socially awkward, but she may enjoy spending time with dogs who have a similar energetic play style; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro recommended) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 50 Age: 3yrs 9mths 3wks

Story
- Energetic girl who loves to run and play; would love a family who likes being active just like she does - May be a bit reserved here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once she's in a home environment and has had time to decompress - Will do best with a securely fenced yard or being on a leash when outdoors to keep her safe and secure - Can be an introvert around some dogs, but when she finds one she likes, she can have a lot of fun playing with them; may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends and may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Story
Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Hello there, I'm Ruben - no sandwich associations needed! While I may not be a tasty deli treat, I am quite the catch. Think of me as a unique blend, like a Husky with a twist! At heart, I'm a cool and energetic guy who's seen a lot in my young life. Now, I'm on a quest to find the perfect family to call my own. With an abundance of love and vitality, I'm a friendly fellow who gets along with just about everyone. I'm like the ideal side dish to complement your family's recipe for happiness.
