Story
INTRODUCING ARES!🐾 Ares is a 2 year old registered pure bred Siberian Husky that is ready to find his “furever” home! NO CATS OR LIVESTOCK, ESPECIALLY CHICKENS! Ares seems to do well with the female dogs in the foster home, but does not play nice (at least through the barriers) with the male dogs in the home. He is very well behaved otherwise. He sits for treats and takes them gently, lets you know when he needs to go outside for potty, and loves belly rubs. He has done well with the dog respectful kids in the home, but he is quite big, so would recommend older kids. He loves to play with a ball, and just wants to play. He is really good about going into his kennel, although he will tell you how much he dislikes it. If you are interested in Ares please send PAWS Rescue inc a message! His adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, vaccinations and microchip. Thank you Kelsee and Josh Gabel for fostering this beautiful guy! Thank you to “Marked in Time” Photography for this stunning pic of Ares.❤️

Story
Loki was born May 20th of 2017. I adopted him from a family of Husky breeders locally, unfortunately they did not have the certificate to prove he's pure breed. He's been super friendly with my family, other kids that come visit, as well as other dogs. He is very shy around new people, especially males. After a few weeks, he warms up to you though if you give him enough attention. If he's out of water, he will bring his bowl to you. He is leash trained but I do not recommend letting him off his leash unless he is comfortable with you. I have been unable to give him the attention he needs. He is usually at home for 10-12 hours with no one to let him out so by the time I get home, he is in high energy mode until about midnight. When I did live with someone who would let him out throughout the day, he was really good about going to bed when everyone else did. He super sweet, but high energy. Please know that Huskies are high maintenance dogs and not for the faint of heart.

Story
Everest Junie, affectionately known as “EJ,” is a soft, sweet and loyal girl. She’s a total rescue favorite- cherished by all who have had to opportunity to be a part of her story. If “rescued” is your favorite breed, pizza is your favorite food, you can appreciate a good long lazy morning snuggle, and you consistently find stale dog treats in your pockets… you and EJ are surely a match made in heaven. EJ is estimated to be around 1 year and 2 months old. She currently tips the scales at a perfectly lap-sized 40 pounds, which is lucky because her favorite place to be is her foster mom’s lap. We think she may be a Husky, Lab mix but she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. WATCH EJ's sweetness! https://youtu.be/t1duDI4IOx0 Resistant, loyal and incredibly sweet- EJ is everything you could want in a rescue dog like herself. She has a huge and grateful heart, patience and love have allowed her to blossom in such a wonderfully worth-it way. A uniquely sweet rescue story, EJ came to us begging for her favorite food, pizza! She was found alongside her gorgeous Husky mother, who has since been adopted. EJ was initially very shy with us, she didn’t appreciate touch but is very, very tolerant of it. She never showed aggression, and while she didn’t necessarily want our love at first, she did seem to understand that it was indeed LOVE. Now, EJ has come such a long way in her journey and is absolutely thriving in a loving foster home with her foster pawrents, their teenage daughter, and two other dogs. In her foster home, EJ has shown that with patience and trust-building, she comes out of her shell entirely. She’s a total lovebug in her foster home, napping in bed with her foster parents, snuggling and playing with toys with her humans. Her foster parents advocate that she is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to their home. She loves her foster doggie siblings and will need a home with at least one other dog, as they are her biggest source of comfort and confidence. When she’s feeling anxious, EJ has the cutest habit of sitting on top of her doggy friends to feel safe. Playing in the backyard, she’s full of silly energy and moves like a baby fox (and kind of looks like one too)! Here at the rescue, EJ is amazing with every dog she meets, tolerant of rough and rowdy players and pushy puppies. She loves playful dogs!! EJ is so amazing with other dogs that she has been routinely used as an assessment dog, meaning that she greets new intake dogs, teaches the dog that the rescue is a fun and safe place to be, and teaches us about the new dog’s canine-to-canine sociability. As an assessment dog, she has saved hundreds of doggy lives- Everest Junie is such an inspirational, innocent and perfect pup. EJ’s perfect home has a fenced yard, at least one other dog, and a calm and patient environment where she can truly blossom. EJ has made amazing progress with her confidence and now seeks out love and attention from her people, but will likely still need some trust-building decompression time with her forever family. She has grown tremendously in her time at the rescue and now with her foster family, where has learned the comforts of a soft bed, ice cream and beef jerky, and squeaky toys. She is extremely food motivated and will happily do most anything for a treat. She adores pets on the face, neck, and tummy, and has the cutest yawn “reflex” when her head is rubbed. At the rescue, she has spent time with children as young as 3. She did well with these dog-savvy and respectful little ones. If you’re looking for a sweet, quirky, and loyal companion, EJ might just be the perfect addition to your pack. She’s ready to find her forever family and share all the love she has to give. We are willing to test EJ with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you. If you have any questions about her, her situation or her needs, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, who would be thrilled to have a discussion with you about this beautiful girl. Our behavior team is also ready to have an in-depth discussion about EJ’s behavioral needs with her forever family. Please email jessicak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Porsha is a beautiful 5 mo old mixed-breed puppy (possibly a German Shepherd mix) weighing 13.4 lbs. She is available for foster-to-adopt through PAWS Rescue Inc. (Foster-to-adopt means you’ll foster Porsha until her vetting is complete, then fill out an adoption application to officially adopt her. You must be located between Idaho Falls and Boise to use our vet clinics.) Porsha is a sweet snuggle bug who loves crinkly toys and enjoys playing in the yard on sunny days. She’s making great progress with potty training and is learning to ring a bell at the door when she needs to go out. She’s also kennel-trained and loves car rides, always ready to be your trusty co-pilot while safely strapped in her dog seatbelt. She’s a quick learner and already knows how to sit on command, especially when treats are involved! At mealtime, Porsha will patiently sit by her bowl and wait until her food is served. She’s also getting the hang of walking with a harness and doing well on her walks. However, she prefers to be fed separately, as she thinks all the food belongs to her! As with most puppies, chew toys are essential for Porsha, and she’s easily redirected when given a new option. A fenced yard is a must to give her plenty of space to run and play. Porsha does great with other dogs, cars, ducks, babies, and children. If you’re looking for an energetic, loving pup to join your family, Porsha might just be the perfect match! Her adoption fee is $350 and payable when approved to foster to adopt. This will include her vaccines, dewormers, spay and microchip. Please reach out to PAWS for an app and to chat with her foster mom, Mindie B. — in Pocatello, ID.

Meet Melvin! Melvin recently joined our rescue and is currently staying at Windswept Kennels, waiting for a foster or forever home! Rescued from a farm in Wendell, ID, Melvin is one of nine puppies. On January 5, 2024, six of the puppies were trapped, including Melvin, Blackie, Bright Eyes, Larry, Glenda, and Bliss. Their mother is an all-white husky, and their father is unknown, possibly a German Shepherd. Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, current vaccinations, and a starter kit of supplies (when available). About Shepskies (Shepherd-Husky Mix) Shepskies combine the best traits of German Shepherds and Siberian Huskies, making them loving, intelligent, and protective companions. Family Dogs: They’re gentle and protective, great for families with proper training. Always supervise interactions with young children. Training Needs: These working dogs are loyal but can be stubborn. A firm, consistent leader helps them thrive. Size: Typically 20–25 inches tall and 45–88 pounds. Personality & Care Shepskies are active, playful, and full of energy. They thrive with regular long walks, hikes, and engaging play sessions. Without sufficient activity or companionship, they may develop separation anxiety or destructive behaviors. Socialization: Early exposure to other pets and people is key. Huskies can have a strong prey drive, so supervision around small animals is important. Grooming: Brush regularly, clean eyes and ears as needed, and trim nails monthly. Watch for signs of infection, like redness or odor in the ears. Shepskies are vocal, especially when bored or left alone for long periods. They prefer living indoors with their families but love spending time outdoors. Breed Disclaimer The listed breed(s) are based on appearance and volunteer experience with similar dogs. Traits and size may vary, and breed mixes are not guaranteed. Adoption fees support our mission to rescue and care for dogs in need. To meet Melvin or learn more, please fill out an application at www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.com. A volunteer will contact you shortly!

Story
Tulie is a bouncy, happy and loving floofy best friend type, looking for love! She’s a perfect adventure dog, with leash skills and sociability that will make any outing more enjoyable with her by your side. She’s confident and athletic enough for the most treacherous hike, but soft and sweet enough to enjoy hours and hours of couch snuggles. She’s well suited for family dog life with older kids, and amazing with other dogs. She’s a husky lover’s dream and she’s available for adoption! Tulie currently weighs in at a lap sized 42 pounds, and we believe her to be an Husky, Chow Chow mix. She is a rescue- so these are just our best guesses. Tulie is estimated to be around 2 years old- still young and trainable, but past the terrors of puppyhood. Meet Tulie here: https://youtu.be/RVW96UOVm1A?feature=shared Tulie is best described as a moderate energy girl- she has the stamina to accompany you wherever you’d like to go, but she has a softness to her that makes quiet nights in enjoyable as well. She’s respectful and friendly with everyone she meets, she keeps all four paws on the floor and soaks up attention with gratitude and a big smile. Tulie is described by those who know her best as “obedient” and “adaptable.” She’s ready to fit right into any Husky lover’s home. Tulie is amazing with other dogs, and could do well in a multi-dog household, or as a solo dog. Tulie has also shown to be a perfect lady around small dogs as well. She has a bouncy, happy, enthusiastic play style with other dogs. She shares affection, attention and treats well with other dogs. Here at the rescue, Tulie was tested with kids and we found that she does great with kids over ten! Tulie has great house manners too, she’s very respectful of furniture and her surroundings. She would make a perfect family dog! Tulie’s favorite things are other dogs, outside time, and the swimming pool. She loves toys and treats too! Tulie is polite when she takes treats, and food motivated, making further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Tulie is ready for life as your best friend. This perfect floofy pup is well-suited for family dog life, life as a member of the pack, or life as your only child! Adaptable and adorable! We are willing to test Tulie with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
