Story
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ME, MISTO! I am a young (about a year) husky mix recently rescued from a crowded California shelter. I was terrified there, but after a few days, my sunshine personality came out! I'm a loving, dog-friendly boy who would do well with another dog in the home, or as an only dog, too. I love to play and am happy! Change is a bit scary for me so I would do well with both a patient and active person, who could take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have the most beautiful blue eyes, and I weigh about 50 lbs. Please email for an application! I currently need a foster or forever home.

Story
HI - I'M HERSHEY! I'm a 4-1/2-month-old Alaskan Husky puppy in need of a foster or forever home. I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, and am so glad to be out of there! Like most puppies, and like many huskies, I'm a ball of puppy energy. I love to play with toys, or play tug-of-war. And like most puppies, I will jump on you, though I'm a quick learner. I even sit for treats! I would do great with an active person or people who can help me blossom into a wonderful dog with the proper basic training and exercise. I weigh about 35 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M JAMES! I'm a 3-1/2-year-old dog-friendly husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter over a year ago, and have been waiting for a home ever since! I'm not sure why it's taking so long - I'm great with other dogs, love people and I'm a happy, loving boy. I was kenneled with a female dog at the shelter. I'm gentle, smart and active - and I would do well with someone who loves to go for long walks or hikes. I weigh only about 50-55 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 7 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them. If you can foster or adopt Bass & Tenor, please email for an application.

MEET MAYA, a sweet female Husky mix with a heart of gold and lots of love to give! She has waited about a year for a new home, for no fault of her own as she's great! Maya is a friendly, affectionate, gentle, loyal, playful, and smart 4-1/2-year-old girl with an adventurous spirit. She loves human attention and affection, and does well with other dogs. Story
WOOF! I'M PATCH! I'm a handsome 1-1/2-year-old husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I have blue eyes! I was rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time. I'm a young boy with a lot of potential: I am friendly, playful, smart, curious and athletic! I am affectionate and will give kisses once I get to know you. I love treats and food in general. I also enjoy human attention and affection. I would do well with an active single person or couple who are active, and who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. I'm not really interested in other dogs, and may do well as the only dog in the home as I love people more than other pups. Please email for an application.
